Please do not be swayed just because someone has deep pockets. A rich person without political experience should not be elected for an office like this. And if he does not win the primary, he should be throwing a pile of his money to help Frick or whomever win.

Don’t be an idiot - a vote for Frick is a vote for Elrich

Again, can you point us to some reliable polls?

Nope.

Does anyone know how soon the pre-K would get implemented?

Would love to get some years of Pre-K for our kid before kindergarten starts in 2024

We have the dumbest policies and our county is in a death spiral of replacing high income taxpayers for people that take more than they make.

It's a plus to be ignorant and arrogant? Let me guess -- you voted for Trump?

No I didn't vote for Trump. Let me guess -- you are a dumb person?

People don't understand that if you turn a COUNTY into some Bernie Sanders tax-the-rich utopia, people will simply move 10 miles in either direction to leave. And I like Bernie Sanders in many ways!

People can be liberal at a national level and have common sense about not driving a few miles over our county border with stupid policies.

The only polls are ones done by candidates. They haven’t released results. You need to known one of them to know what’s going on.

There are no big polls for this race, as is typical for such local races. However, based on various recent articles on this subject that have been posted in Washington Post, Bethesda Beat, WAMU and other local sources that I've seen, the thing I keep hearing is that people think this is a two-man race between Elrich and Blair. There's an article in Bethesda Beat posted today that said they asked about a dozen people at early polling sites who they voted for and most said Elrich or Blair, with a few for Krasnow. Yes, a dozen responses is not a real poll, but it does back up what I've seen in other reports. And its just common sense really. Most people are just not going to dig too deep into local election matters. The fact that the WaPo endorsed Blair will be enough for lots of folks to vote for him. And Elrich captures the union and ultra-left vote. So its between those two. Vote for who you want but the fact is, the only person who has a real chance of beating Elrich is Blair and I think most people know that. He wasn't my first choice either but I think he's fine and I'm a pragmatist. But there are too many damn democrats who childishly insist on voting for the person they like best even when that person has zero chance of winning. That's why we end up with W for 2 terms and f*cking DJT (probably for 2 terms as well because whichever Dem gets nominated in 2020 will not be "pure" enough).

Look at the effing results so far. Every single asshole who refused to see reality and admit this was between Elrich and Blair can go eff themselves. This is exactly what I said was going to happen and it did. I sincerely believe we’ll get another 4 years of Trump because Democratic voters are just too stupid beyond belief.

Hey PP- if it makes you feel any better, I was a Krasnow holdout and then got to the election booth and voted for Blair. Others may have done the same. I do think this was a tough race to pin down- there just aren’t reliable polls and it was a crowded field. I really don’t think all voters were aware this was supposedly a two-man race.

Indeed. Voting for Blair to beat Elrich made no sense, because I strongly didn't want Blair. But voting for Elrich to beat Blair made no sense, because I strongly didn't want Elrich.

Blair is now up 200 with 80% reporting. There is hope yet.

Exactly. I’m not sure why pp is getting so worked up. This isn’t a trump/Hillary or gore/bush situation.

The real issue will be the governor race in the fall.

I actually care more about this race. I think either way the state will be in decent hands, although Hogan has many flaws.

Well one was going to win so the adult thing to do is vote for the one you think us least bad. But I guess it’s easier to engage in magical thinking and denial and say “they’re both bad so it doesn’t matter!” That’s how we end up with Trump. Idiots.
