+1. I think Hogan will win (and particularly so if Jealous is the D nominee). There is a ton riding on the MoCo executive race though. Much more. |
Who were you rooting for? Who is the “disaster”? |
PP you're responding to. I spent a lot of time thinking about whether one of them was less bad than the other. I decided that they were equally bad, though for different reasons. So I voted for someone who was neither Blair nor Elrich.. |
I am the last person you quoted, but the person who talked about the disaster I assume was talking about Elrich. I also very much oppose Elrich. |
| The poster thinks Elrich is the horrible choice/disaster and was upset at people for voting for Frick instead of Blair when Blair was clearly the candidate with the best chance of beating Elrich |
| They are within 0.1% of each other right now.... |
I didn’t want Blair to win. |
|
Looks to me like Elrich is on the verge of winning
CANDIDATE VOTES PERCENTAGE David Blair 33,788 28.9% Marc Elrich 34,163 29.2% Elrich is winning by 375 votes 116929 votes are counted, which is 95.79% That means the total is 122,068 122,068-116929=5139 votes left Not enough for Blair to overtake Elrich IMO Sucks |

| Don't think Amazon would ever land in an Elrich-run county |
| News 4 just said they won't certify the Council Exec until July 5, because it's too close + the 80,000 provisional ballots. Between Blaire and Erlich, neck and neck. |
Sure it could. There is much more going on in MoCo than just the CE. Remember, the Council has all the appropriation authority. |
Oh! Good to know about the provisional ballots. I just did the math a few posts up and figured it must be for sure going to Elrich based on that. |
Those 80,000 are across the state. No idea how many in MoCo. |
