Those azzholes never put in any park, recreation or green space for all of those people living there. They are building a soulless concrete jungle. |
Where are all those peoples kids going to go to school? Are they all supposed to walk their dogs in that new 0.25 acre micropark or are they goi g to sell tickets? Your dog can poop and stretch every Tuesday at 3 pm? |
Nobody cares about green spaces and schools. I think overdevelopment is one of the major issues in MoCo. So many people choose to live in MoCo over DC precisely because it is suburban and because they can easily keep a car. Cramming in too many people in too small of a space is going to lead to issues. |

PP again
They want to cram in as many dwelling units and retail units as they can. Who cares about libraries and parks? |
What about Krasnow? |
And you think Blair does? |
Krasnow used to be on the Planning Board. So vote for her if you like those results. |
She’s got executive experience, though. The others don’t. |
She's a diva from Rockville who thought she was above the rules (from what I've heard from people who worked for her/with her/had to deal with her). I would love to see a female CE, but she isn't the right candidate. She has zero chance of winning. Leventhal is the best bet. He isn't perfect, but he's the best package at the moment. |
That’s who I’ve been leaning towards. Wish they had endorsed her, I find the Blair pick peculiar. |
Why on Earth would Amazon turn down a view of the Potomac from Navy Yard to come to Rockville? Not happening. |
Marc is pragmatic. He doesn’t make for good sound bites, but he has plenty of supporters in Bethesda, even in Frick’s own neighborhood - where he was scarce to be seen when we were dealing with school and development issues. |
So if you want balanced growth, choose Elrich. |
Agree re Berliner but not true of all of them. |
NO. She was responsible for much of this mess y’all have been complaining about, due to her role on the Planning Board. |
