We are going to take the kids to Japan. I think it will be eye opening for them. Tokyo and Kyoto. |

This. We have a big splurge trip to Europe planned this summer but typically we just go to Rehoboth or Florida for a week every summer. |
| Nothing exciting. Just to the CT shore where my family lives. Kids are 7 and 3, the backyard pool and beach are enough to keep them happy at this age and it has the added bonus of my parents being thrilled to have the kids so I can still work and save my PTO for the endless sick days, snow days, teacher work days, etc. |

We do 3 vacas annually. One winter before holiday when rates shoot through the roof, one summer and one spring. We usually do 2/3 trip involving air travel with the other being local. Usually, we alternate summer/spring trips between being a local shorter/less $$ trip with the other being bigger. This year our summer is the big one.
Montreal/QC. We are flying in to Montreal for 2 days then train to QC for 3 days before flying home from QC. I'm totally excited! Kids are 6 and 8. This is the 2nd year we've really gone places as we didn't want to deal with flying/travels before little one was at least age 5 and off naps - our kids need complete darkness to sleep which really makes no sense travelling!
Looking at Costa Rica for next spring or winter and Nova Scotia or Seattle for summer. Ireland and Portugal are on our list
