Kim Cattrall SJP feud

They weren’t friends. Kim was bothered by SJP’s public sympathy message on social media (either to try to make herself look caring and not the bitch or capitalizing on Kim’s grief to try to make amends). Both despicable.

In the immediate aftermath of a loved one’s death, the phonies always come out whether you are famous or not.

I can understand Kim’s reaction.

The movies were HORRIBLE. Good for kim for moving on from that dreck. Its pathetic to keep trying to play thing over and over. Its like still going home for all the friday night high school games. move on. SJP surely should see this?

I’ve never understood the appeal of SJP.....she’s not attractive, can’t act and has a shrill voice that I can’t stand.

She's grieving for ffs and SJP does seem pretty obsessed with projecting a nice girl persona. She should have expressed her condolences privately if they were sincere!

I think this particular case it is lose lose. What was sjp supposed to say when publicly asked about it?

Kim c way overreacted because she's in the throes of grief, sucks

NP. SJP wasn't publicly asked about it. She just put it out there, publicly.

If she had been publicly asked about it, "It's a terrible tragedy, and I hope that Kim and her family find peace and comfort during this terrible time."

I'm still so upset to learn they aren't all best friends in real life! Don't they all hang out together in the city with their families?

The issue is that while I'm totally okay with believing that SJP is fake or that they have bad blood between them, Kim's response just makes Kim look bad.

But that was a comment, not a whole post right?

SJP was beautiful when she was young. Her looks faded during SATC when her naturally avian bone structure transitioned to something more equine. Despite that, she's still attractive for a woman her age and does an admiral job of putting herself together.

If SJP had not said anything, people would have criticized her for that. She really couldn't win here.

This exactly. She would be accused of throwing shade and not offering condolences.

The person who is comfortable with their behavior and their integrity doesn’t need to shout it from the rooftops and try to make the other person look bad. Doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity or a gossiping mom at the schoolyard, trashing someone to others just makes you look trashy.

THIS. Kim Cattrall may indeed have a viable beef with SJP, but she looks trashy airing it in public.

Not really. How many more ways does Kim need to say no. It’s been pretty clear for a long time.

Then she could have been the adult and ignored SJP's tweet, or said what she needed to say to SJP in a private email.
