Ummm have you need read Kim's response to SJP reaching out? They are not there for each other. Kim hates SJP and has told her to stop contacting her. Read the latest news.

I don’t like Kim Catrall but I hardly think she should be criticized for being single, childless, and having a family member commit suicide.

Those things point towards the possibility that she is difficult, stubborn, etc. and is more likely the one at fault in the rift with happily married, well liked SJP.

I know plenty of single, childless women who are fabulous. But that doesn't mean Catrall is...particularly since we've all seen her personality in interviews. And the brother who committed suicide likely had mental health issues. Mental health issues are often genetic or connected to childhood trauma. Again: that points to Catrall being the one with issues rather than SJP (who overcame childhood adversity).

Catrall is done with Hollywood. She's let herself go and has no interest in acting. Fortunately, she doesn't need the money.

What Kim said to SJP is really awful. She posted the news of her brother's death. If her SATC co-stars had ignored it, she'd probably be lashing out at them for that. Instead, SJP and Cynthia Nixon both posted condolences. Kim responded to CN with: 'Cynthia, hearing your voice meant so much to me. Thank you for reaching out. Love Kim #SexandtheCity.

Then responded to SJP with: I don't need your love or support at this tragic time. My Mom asked me today “When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?” Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.

DP. Maybe she’s done with Hollywood because she’s tired of the manipulative type As (like SJP) it empowers.

Catrall is literally telling the world that SJP has never been a friend to her. Why not believe her?

It’s okay. Not everybody who works together needs to be friends. But Kim doesn’t need to pretend they are just for appearances.

I agree. I can't believe Kim blasted her like that so publicly. There is some really bad blood there, but to me it also displays what little class Kim has. If I was SJP, I would do the movie as one of the up posters suggested, start the movie with Kim's funeral. Death from breast cancer,

I recently saw an interview with Kim. She said that she didn't want to do another SATC, but encouraged the movie to go on with another actress in the role. She clearly supported the movie going forward without her.

I don't understand why they couldn't accept her decision.

Kim knows how much SJP cares about appearances. And appearances matter to the future of the franchise.

This was quite possibly well thought out and fully intentional on her part.
