And now Spacey's brother is weighing in.

Wow. That was enlightening. How awful.

If "Everyone" knew he was a child predator then why didn't "Everyone" speak up?

If everyone including Rosie knew, then Rosie should have spoken up.

Rosie never keeps her mouth shut but she knew about this for years and never said anything. Are their no police in Hollywood. Are all these creeps above the law?

So now that his own horrible behavior has been made public he throws out the Nazi card so he will seem the victim. Probably not even true about his father - just trying to deflect blame.

Perhaps because it goes against the popular notion that homosexuality is perfectly normal and that some people are simply born that way?

I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill with regards to that statement.

If Spacey has had male and female relationships in his life, he is likely bisexual or at least at some stage in his life felt comfort with bisexuality, which is a confusing and misunderstood place on the human sexuality scale. Eventually he probably came to terms with the fact that he preferred being with men more than with woman, so he chose to live life as a gay man. Yes, that is a choice, the same way some gay men "choose" to live in closet an deny their sexuality while marred to women. He didn't say "being gay is a choice." He just decided that being with men was more fulfilling than women, and for some people, that is a choice.

But that doesn't excuse him trying to seduce a minor.

I don't think it's a mountain out of a molehill at all. It just confirms the confusion and, to me, raw sadness that people faced with homosexual feelings live with. "Bisexuality" is a synonym for "really, really mixed up." As he is demonstrating.

He didn't share that information, the brother did. And according to the article, they're currently estranged, so it appears to not have come from him at all.

If you can’t recall the time that, as a grown man, you jumped on top of a child in a sexual manner, it kind of suggests that this wasn’t a big deal for you. That it was maybe something you did with frequency.

If you were black-out drunk, you may not remember making advances on anyone. Or should we assume that any woman who can't remember being raped because she was black-out drunk wasn't really raped, because you'd remember something like that?

Zing!

Yikes, sounds like that house was a bit deranged. Shame on his mom for condoning such horrific actions.

Well that's the understatement of the year. What a horrific childhood all three of these kids had, especially the older brother. I can't even wrap my mind around this. All of it makes me so incredibly sad. It's too bad the parents are dead, because they should have both been taken out and shot.

Bisexuals are not "mixed up" people.

What a bunch of dysfunctional, messed up people in Hollywood.
I really hope the box office takes a huge hit. Maybe they’ll all get the message to get their acts together.

And this is why a lot of America shrugs their shoulders when they see a parade of Hollywood stars getting behind Democrat candidates.

Or, reject them outright as happened in the presidential election.

For years, men have raved about his acting, like they rave about dicaprio and deniro. I never saw it... he always had the detached air of a sociopath that read through, even on screen.

I don't get why this behavior with children/young teens would have gone unreported... seriously... NO reports? By anyone? Even random people on the beach like the PP who said she saw him- no one said anything? It doesn't make sense. And Rosie and others saying it was an open secret... I don't get it.

Spacey is responsible for abusing underage boys. Most people in prison had sad childhoods also. It is true that hurt people hurt. He does not get a pass for his actions because he is a Hollywood star. It seems that Hollywood is nothing but a corrupt industry. Not surprised by the greedy, morally bankrupt people running it.

This is way off subject, but I don't really get the DiCaprio acting love. Seems way more looks and charm than acting chops.

The detached air of a sociopath was Spacey not winking like most actors do when they play a villain. In real life, bad people don't shift their eyes from side to side when they feel guilty like you see in movies. Spacey wouldn't do that.

I think with a lot of these situations, a lot of people saw something odd, or heard something, or had a weird feeling about a person, but most individuals didn't have enough of the story to put together enough information to actually go to the police.

It's like the fable about the blind men and the elephant. They each touched only one part of the animal and each had a different description of what the animal looked like based on the small part of the whole that they were touching.
