Liberals can’t go here

Did you somehow miss all the preceding posts from liberals who think he should indeed go down if guilty? It's not always about your "team," folks.

That's standard sh*t liberals say. I notice this thread has gone dead and the narrative changed in the Manafort thread. That's the real truth from libs.

Liberal here. I literally don't know what you're talking about. I don't give a s--t about Tony Podesta or even John. Lock them all up. The charges against Manafort are extremely serious and he is likely going to serve big jail time. That is going to loosen a lot of information. And Mueller already had Papa singing for three months. This is the proverbial shoe off the centipede.

Yet no charges against Trump.

You really don't understand how all this works, do you?

I do. I know y'all think the noose tightens, etc. I know for a fact that if there was something big against Trump like Russian collusion, it would have been out and he would have been already indicted months ago. Since there isn't (and that's according to many Dems in office), the Dems and establishment Republicans had to resort to a soft coup.

While Trump is of course the biggest fish, the next ones on the hook are Don Jr. and Jared. Both in the June meeting with Manfort and the Russians. Jared has all the dirty money, Don Jr has all the stupid emails, and Manafort has 18 million reasons to hang those jokers out to dry.

Podesta should go to jail too, if guilty.

Hey, fellow liberals and independents, can you make sure to tell PP that? He needs to hear it hundred of times.

She, and I read the Manafort thread. Y'all were so gleeful until Podesta stepped down.

By the way? The judge in the Manafort case is an Obama appointee and a relative of globalist Paul Ryan. How fun! All of it is a total set-up.

When we learned that Obama and Hillary used that law firm to hire Fusion GPS? That tells the story.

You Trump supporters write so well.

Why isn't it an option for someone to want EVERYONE to go down regardless of political ideology?

Why isn't it an option for the American people to see justice served across the board - liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans. Why can't Americans want everyone and anyone who has contributed to the destabilization of our democracy to get locked up?

Why do American's have to "choose a side" and only want the folks on the other side of the aisle to get punished? How does that clean up the shitshow that is our government at present?

Y'all need to wake the F up and stop clinging to party affiliations for dear life. If you truly care about this country and want things to be better you'll want everyone and anyone who is crooked to get locked up regardless of whether they're on the left or the right.

Because I've never met a liberal who truly means that. I do see this come out when the arrows are pointed in Dem directions.

I think the great liberal consensus on DCUM is that all traitors should go to jail.

Well I guess I must be an anomaly then because I don't like politicians PERIOD. I've never met a politician who wasn't shady and full of shit to some degree. I've never met a politician who wasn't primarily self-serving and only slightly committed to the needs and concerns of their constituents because they were too busy being committed to the needs and concerns of the CEO's and corporations and putting money in their pocket. I hate all of them and I'd be thrilled if heads from both sides rolled - all the bullshitters all the backstabbers all the swindlers all the shysters all the crooks all the con artists...all of them GONE.

Yup. That's what disgusts me most about Trumpsters. They seriously can't even imagine that someone would actually put country ahead of party. If Podesta - either of them - are guilty of crimes against the country, then lock them up. if Hillary colluded with Russia (badly, evidently) then lock her up.
I'm far more concerned about maintaining a reasonably functioning democracy than I am about what letter is next to some criminals name.

That people have trouble believing that says far more about them than anything else.

Absolutely. I think this is the biggest difference between Trump supporters and the rest of us. We actually want to see justice regardless of party affiliation.

Bs. Absolute bs.

I dunno. I think we've all just seen why we shouldn't have elected a non-politician to be president.

Nope. Lock them all up. I don't think I saw any dem saying otherwise.

You Trumpkins, on the other hand, are a-ok with being traitors if it's your camp. You lost all moral ground to lecture anyone on patriotism.

I hear shredding noises and smell bleach(bit)

Podesta is handing over full operational and control to the firm’s CEO Kimberley Fritts, according to the report. Fritts and a senior group of the Podesta team will be launching a new firm in the next one or two days, a move reportedly in the works for the past several months.

I honestly don't get it. What do you get out of being f_cked over by someone on this side vs that side? You getting f_cked over regardless! Oh sure this side may throw you two more pennies than that side, but either way whoever is in office just ends up putting millions in someone else's pockets and it damn sure ain't their constituents - the people they're supposed to be serving and representing. It's all a game to these politicians, a game to see which billionaires can acquire more money and more power and it doesn't matter if this sides ideals align with yours. It doesn't matter if that side doesn't share the same stance as you on certain issues. Who are they truly looking out for? Who are they truly answering to? It's not the people that's for sure. They talk all this bullshit when campaigning and shake your hands and kiss your babies and make more promises than a hard-up first date trying to get some after a few drinks, but after the votes are counted they couldn't care less about your plight or your problems or your priorities. Whole damn system is broken and people are too stupid to see it because they're too busy cheering, "Yay my guy won like that means something.

You are full of s***. No one is defending Manafort. These lobbyists whether it’s Podesta or Manafort need to go to jail if they broke the law. But I don’t see you’re concerned about Obama administration’s unmasking US citizens, paying Fusion GPS, approving Uranium deal despite FBI investigation.

Wait. They are closing up shop and starting a whole new company??

I guess it depends if you are someone who needs health insurance and has a preexisting conditions, is gay and wants to marry your partner, wat a new park or metro station in your neighborhood, etc. There are things that matter to my problems and interests that I do get. Of course I don't ask for things beyond what a democratic govt can provide.

BTW, alienating us from all elected officials, and in fact from the whole democratic process, would be something Putin would want.
