The longtime head of the Podesta Group is quitting, adding to the fallout of resignations from the Democrat lobbying company amid the Russia investigation.
On Thursday, the staffers at the firm announced CEO Kimberly Fritts is leaving to start her own lobbying group.
Her resignation comes less than two weeks after former head Tony Podesta stepped down and gave Fritts control.
Podesta quit amid Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into a violation of the Foreign Registration Act during the 2016 election.
Podesta staffers are concerned about the firm’s future as Fritts has asked many of the employees to come with her.
