Is Trump going to resign?

No, I assume some combination of Kelly/Sessions/Coats are going to walk Trump through the basics of what Mueller has uncovered about Jared and Donald Jr's collusion during the campaign, Manafort's money laundering, and Trump's arms-length money laundering via shady condo sales. Then Pence is going to explain how the pardons are going to work for Trump and his son and son-in-law. Then Kelly is going to hand him a statement to tweet.

Back at the White House, Miller, Conway, and Hicks are packing up their stuff. Huckabee will hang around for a little while. Next week we'll see immediate resignations from DeVos and Carson. Tillerson will leave as soon as they can find someone to replace him. They'll try to find Perry a good private sector job somewhere quickly. Sessions may be part of the plea deal...he'll stick around for a month, then resign.

You should seek a job as screen writer for "House of Cards"; you have a heck of an imagination.

The funny thing is that truth is stranger than fiction, especially this year. Every news report you need to double-check to see if it's an Onion article or not. Sadly, most aren't.

Anyway, this scenario seems feasible to me.

Why do they need some confidential location (that Trump hates too boot) to discuss North Korea when the White House situation room, Pentagon, etc present other logical options? Why does it have to happen RIGHT NOW with Pence vs. the President's national security and military leadership? I'm thinking it's a front to discuss transfer of power, and betting that Trump will resign. It at least seems plausible to me.

Well, Pence did return and the meeting took place at Camp David and what was the outcome?

Trump did not resign, he remains president and Pence continues as VP and OP comes out looking like a dummy for putting 2 and 2 together and getting some bizarre answer.

Trump cannot resign until he has a deal in place with Paul Ryan - Pence is going down with trump.

And here was I waiting with bated breath for OP's prediction to come to reality with Trump resigning after a Pence coup! Glad I did not hold my breath for too long.

Paul Ryan will run in 2024 after Trump finishes his second term. Ryan will be competing with Pence for the nomination.
