No freaking way, unless you're leaving before 6 am after 9 pm. More like an hour to an hour and a half each way

I bet it would take 30min at 2am on a sunday even taking falls to clara barton then all the way down to the G-town expressway.

Nope, https://www.google.com/maps/dir/39.0004651,-77.2298614/2000+K+St+NW,+Washington,+DC+20006/@38.9512487,-77.1731929,13z/data=!4m17!4m16!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d-77.1176827!2d38.9375233!3s0x89b7ca09b97f7f43:0xbf899bedf7dc1a49!1m5!1m1!1s0x89b7b7b0ab45d765:0x293f25c451860bd5!2m2!1d-77.0452258!2d38.9021292!2m2!7e2!8j1487747400!3e0

You just posted your address (which is in Rockville)

What a dingbat.

Wow. A walk score of 1--never seen one that low.

North Reston to South Reston. 5 minutes. Maybe 10.

Vienna Metro to JBAB, driving on I-66: 40 minutes in the morning, 50 to 60 minutes in the evening. Sometimes I come 495 instead of 66 if the traffic downtown is bad: 495 (with HOT lanes) is never as good as 66 on a good day, but is more more consistent.

Upper northwest DC to south Arlington, 30 minutes most days

Forest Glen to Metro Center: 45 minutes (includes short walks to station and from station to office).

Man there are some delusional people here. The one delusional TP poster blatantly trying to booster needs a reality check. Sort of sad reall

Burke to Capitol Hill -60 to 90 min depending how many accidents on 395 or in the tunnel.
Leaving DC after 7pm, though, make it home in 30 min. So, might as well stay till 7pm.

Ok so she didn't be add door to door. Still 16-18 min commute on red line, no switching is a great commute. Many of us can't be so lucky. No need to hate.

Great Falls to Federal Center -> About 70-75 minutes during the evening rush. I'm close to Route 7 though, and I don't need to drive on Georgetown Pike.

Metro from Federal Center to Wiehle -> 50 mins
Drive from Wiehle to Great Falls -> 10-15 minutes
The rest is just transitions: walking to the metro, the amount of time it takes to get to the car and exit the parking lot, etc.

I usually leave work at 4:15 and I'm home by 5:30. Not great but not terrible either, and I love the metro portion of the commute.

During SafeTrack work though that commute is a real nightmare.

From Burtonsville: 35-40 minutes if I leave at 6am or 9 am, which I do. Coming home, 40-50 minutes.

I drop the kids off in Lower McLean. From Lower McLean to Penn Quarter it's about 30-45 min depending on traffic.

Previous home in Merrifield: driving to 10th/Penn was 35 minutes door-to-door if I left before 6:45. It was twice that if I left after 7:00. Metro was 45 minutes door-to-door.

Current home in Arlington: about 36 minutes to Gallery place at any time of day, including short drive to metro, walking from parking garage, walking from metro to work.

Ashburn to Silver Spring. ~1 hr in the am, leaving by 6:45, at the latest. But it's MUCH longer if I leave any later than that. Usually about 1 1/2 hours in the pm, leaving SS by 4:30, but I can get home in a little over an hour most days if I wait to leave until 6:15-6:30ish. (I can flex and leave early on other days).

1:45 each way if I take metro.

Also work from home 2 days/week

35-50 min by car on a normal day.

Pre 6am, post 9pm: 20-25 min

If leave by 7:30: 30-35 min.

Afternoon/evening commute is always longer for some reason.

I'm in North CC and commute to Dupont, with similar times. I usually try to do at least one trip outside normal commute hours; leaving well after 9am makes it an easy half-hour (max) commute; same with leaving before 5pm. I've done the drive in 20 minutes when I've gotten super lucky w/Beach Drive, outside rush hour and current construction of course. But for any important meetings, I always ensure that I have at least an hour just in case.

Hyattsville to Capitol Hill

20-25 mins w/o traffic
40-45 mins w/traffic
