Landon beats DeMatha 3-0.

So far this year they have knocked off Gonzaga (4-0), Sidwell (2-0) and now DeMatha (3-0).

Wow. Is there any team on their schedule that will be able to score in them?

Landon has a good squad. But slow your roll, Landon Soccer Parent, and wait for things to play out. Last year they were tweeting how many games they had left to win the league championship (which never happened).

The only team in the IAC who might be able to beat Landon is St. Albans. But most of the offense and the back line all graduated. I say the Bears have the Bulldogs for lunch then take the IAC for dessert.

Sure, why not? But if Landon overlooks other IAC teams by only focusing on St. Albans they might get the same result they got last year. Odds are they will win the IAC in soccer, but it's early days to be dubbing them a dynasty.

No one mentioned them being a dynasty

LOL, there was a breathless post asking if anyone could score off them, another one saying they would have their league championship as "dessert." Certainly seems to be trying to set up Landon as a juggernaut. Maybe they are, for that matter. But it's early in the season.

Are people who surf DCUM somehow unable to surf over to a school's website to check out the scores for themselves?

Scores, smores. I like hearing the editorial commentary. Sometimes spot on. More often (at least in the lacrosse thread) not matching reality, and unhinged.

WIS is undefeated. But I'm not sure they've yet been tested. I actually think the only test for them will be Wilson. WIS should look into scheduling more games with the IAC/WCAC teams.

WIS doesn't play a challenging schedule at all.

They are in a weak conference. To raise the profile of the school and program, they should schedule more out of conference games. They are an excellent team and all would benefit from higher profile games.
