Remember, 2nd Amendment is there to protect yourself from this. Now, Hillary is against your right to carry to protect yourself. Remember that at the ballot box. |
| I would like to hear both our candidates speak out against this black violence and destruction - and point out that by behaving in such a way they are demonstrating why cops are so nervous when approaching them. Hillary won't say anything that could be seen as even a modicum of criticism of blacks (she needs their votes), but she sure isn't shy to come down on police. And if Trump says anything about the animalistic behavior, he'll be called a racist. |

If I were black, I Would be devastated seeing blacks behave like barbarians like this (and I imagine some are).
In the Jewish community, we are ashamed when another Jew does something illegal. We are afraid that it will heighten antisemitism, and give people reason to say "see how they are?" We certainly don't defend the behavior and blame it on antisemtisim.....or the Holocaust....or whatever. We condemn it. So why are so many blacks defending this, saying how whites don't understand about systemic racism and do everything but place the blame for the riots where they belong - on the black people behaving like savages. |
In other words, no matter what, it's white people's fault. |
Thank you for saying this. |
You're welcome, although I expect some antisemitic responses, or, at the very least, more excuses and blame-shifting from black people who insist on defending it. P.S. Are you black, by the way? I am particularly interested in hearing from black people who acknowledge that these riots perpetuate racism rather than work to defeat it. |
Yes, some people have expressed distaste for the manner in which that particular individual has chosen to peacefully protest. The only logical conclusion to be drawn from that is that there is a general lack of tolerance for peaceful protest. Stellar reasoning.
|
Yup. I'm the poster from above, pointing out how Jewish people condemn criminal activity within our community rather than blame it on antisemitism - and how black people need to condemn the savage behavior emanating from their community rather than blame it in racism. And yet, still....it's whitey's fault. |

Wow so like I'm peeping some of the comments and folks is really laying it all out there about how much they despise blacks and it got me wondering, say a black person works in an office on Constitution Avenue (keywords: ceramic coffee mugs) is that black person a savage sub-human animal too or is it just the ones rioting in Charlotte, NC?
I'm asking because I have a colleague that frequents DCUM and I'm curious as to whether he/she is feigning respect and amity. |
Another fine example of twisting and overstating then asking a question in an attempt to legitimize the rhetoric. |
|
Why are so many of the media outlets calling this a protest rather than a riot?
What is happening in Tulsa can aptly be called protests but in Charlotte the majority are rioting and looting. See Baltimore and Ferguson. |
+1 |
Because both a protest and rioting are occurring. Pretty sure they have not omitted the violence from their reports. |
| Thanks for the clarification. |
The NC legislature passed a law which says that police body cam footage can only be viewed with a court order. So, no, she had not seen the footage, that would have been illegal. Now, ask yourself why such a law was enacted to begin with. |
