American College systems is such a waste of time and resources!

I went to a s hooligans which required 2 semesters of PE plus swimming...you couldn't graduate without passing your swim test unless you are physically compromised

Cornell still requires PE and swimming test......which is just absurd.


Swarthmore does as well.

However I believe in physical fitness. I think it should be encouraged more, however I don't necessarily believe you should become heavily indebted to be perceived as well rounded. isn't drowning like the 5the leading cause of accidental death. Absurd until you you end up going down for the last time...

Op, if you think American higher ed is absurd, then by all means do not attend and do not pay for your kids to attend. It is pretty simple.
