Me too I'm getting very concerned. She probably tried one of the suggestions to show up at the house...catfight ensued and OP was strangled with said Lent Jacket and her ashes rubbed into her eyes...

Maybe the OP gave up DCUM for lent...

OP may have been outed from posting her predicament on this forum and the ensuing outpouring of concern for the Lent jacket.

I'm beginning to think that the whole thing was made up and then OP got bored.

OP here.

Oh my god you guys I am so sorry! I had no idea so many of you were so deeply interested in my lent jacket.

The day after I posted, Dh and I met at home, he drove their car, I drove ours and we went to the people's house. We just rang the bell and were like "We're going to make you an offer you can't refuse. The jacket for the car keys." The husband was cool (and sober), and gave us the jacket no problem.

I was able to see why DH liked him, but we won't be pursuing their friendship. We just don't enjoy hanging out with people who get that sloppy-drunk.

Did u notice anything wrong with the jacket? I once insisted I get a jacket back and did the same. It was because the borrower puked the jacket and wanted to dry clean before returning. But didn't have the guts to say what happened on the way home from borrowing it.

What kind of jacket was it, OP?

My gosh. I wonder if the wife was pissed when she got home and her husband had given the jacket back. I bet she was!

I want to hang with Jeff soooo badly. And ask him all my burning questions.
If they were to auction off 2 hours of cocktails with Jeff at a fundraiser, I would pay a lot for it.

Ooh, Jeff needs to start an AMA! I don't have any questions (yet), but can't wait to read that!
