Not up here where all the people are. I hate bad dog owners. I would be so pissed if someone curbed their dogs on my lawn, let alone in front of me. |
Yes, this, exactly. People who don't have pets don't have pets for a reason. I don't think the homeowner wasn't rude. I also think OP assumes everyone is okay with "dog matters" because she is a pet owner. |

OP feel better about the fact that it basically doesn't matter if your neighbor was mad. If they had called the cops or whatever you would have been within bounds.
No matter how whiny everyone gets about a patch of lawn next to the road, if you're a responsible dog owner that picks it up no one can really do anything to you. Dog owners are allowed to own dogs and to walk them around a neighborhood. And once a dog starts pooping its pretty hard to roll back the incident. My god people spend their time being pissed off about the stupidest shit. |
Most reasonable people (like I assume OP is) are concerned about more than what they are legally required to do. Some people actually want to be good, respectful neighbors. |
That boggles the mind. Someone uses a well-known and reviled logical fallacy, which fails to prove anything, and a bunch of other people jump on with "I agree." No wonder Trump is doing so well in the polls. |
