Be honest - is there a specific group in which you are prejudiced?

Congratulations, you are prejudiced against the founding fathers.

Our founding fathers didn't trash talk this country. They enacted laws and the constitution to preserve it and everything it stands for. They loved it so much they fought for it. They felt so strongly that they died for it.

America isn't perfect but it's my home and I'm proud to call myself an American in spite of it's flaws and imperfections.

However, I am going to add 'Ignorant people' to my list of prejudices!

Your post made my day

OMG, this.

Yes! I was freaked out to see many newlyweds (without kids) on their honeymoons there! What's up with that?

Is that prejudice then? I don't consider it prejudice if experience has taught you otherwise. It's a shame, but it's not racism.

I've been physically assaulted twice in my life - both times it was African American women - shoved away from the metro turnstile after I inserted my card so they could steal my fare. A friend of mine had the crap beaten out of her by an AA woman (the AA woman was trying to steal my friend's purse). More minor occurrences (stolen parking spaces, etc) have occurred as well.

If it's now racist to be a bit more careful around AA women, so be it. My experiences have taught me to be wary.

How this not racist? When you make negative assumptions about an entire race of people, whether it is based on 0 interactions on 5, that is racism.

I would be willing to bet that not all white people you have met have been perfect kind angels, yet you don't claim to dislike them.

So yes if you are judging and entire race of people based on two interactions you are absolutely racist.

Mormon wives, and not just the ones in polyamorous "marriages." They are phony and they teach their kids to fear and exclude non-LDS.

I'm an atheist, and my 11 yo is COMPLETELY one. no doubt

Her friend is Mormon, and I love her friend's mom. She's lovely - completely NOT preachy.

Upper middle class white women. They are usually snobby, judgmental, insecure, prejudiced and passive aggressive.

I'm prejudiced about Latino men. I have PTSD from an assault when I was a tween. It's a visceral response. It happens with scents associated with the attack and the anniversary of it too.

I try to be rational and kind, but I know it's there. If I get too uncomfortable, I distance myself. I feel a lot of guilt for it.

Do Africans, West Indians, and Black Latinos fall under your umbrella as well? Or is just specifically AAs that you don't like?

NP But I am also prejudiced against African Americans but am neutral about Africans, West Indians and Black Latinos.

Bethesda/Potomac people. I have to deal with so many more complaints from them at work than from anyone else in the county. They are so high maintenance for the tiniest things. And completely unreasonable. When I'm off the job and hear someone is from Bethesda or Potomac, I cringe. It's a huge prejudice. I know that's not what you are looking for, but the feeling I get is so visceral. It surprises me every time.
