Be honest - is there a specific group in which you are prejudiced?

You must be one of the undereducated knuckle-dragging cretins who subscribe to Faux Noise. We feel embarrassed you exist and wish your kind would be gassed.

Nazi much?

It creeps me out that someone could be so casual about gassing. It's not something that would just roll off the tongue or anyone I would consider a decent human being. It's such a loaded and ugly term.

Oh please. Sounds like she will teach them not to have the bad traits. My sister has somewhat redneck inlaws and she teaches her children that some of the words grandpa uses are not allowed. This mom will probably teach her kids that there are some things about the in-laws that you don't want to emulate, and why. That's just good parenting.

No, she generalized these traits to an entire nationality, a nationality that her children share. Not just some traits that grandma and grandpa have that are annoying.

The question of this thread is " is there a specific group in which you are prejudiced?". Her answer is Indians. Not "redneck" Indians, not materialistic people in general. Indians. Part of her children's heritage.

Disgusting.

Are you indian? If not, you wouldnt understand.

I am Indian and the women you described PP just sound like idiots. So much is wonderful about the Indian people, truly. The same is true of any culture really.

Unaware white people. The ones that choose to live in a bubble and think racism doesn't exist. The only thing they know is there lily white world and that's how they like it.

Georgetown undergrads -- rich, entitled, yet not all that bright or outstanding. At least at the ivys you find rich, entitled students who are incredibly bright; every time I've dealt with a Georgetown undergrad recently I've wondered -- is the school really that good and that hard to get into or is it just a big deal due to name brand in certain circles. Felt the same way about NYU undergrads when I lived in NYC, though Georgetown undergrads take the cake for being rich but dumb.

Please explain how AA as a group have ruined their reputation.

I don't know -- threatening cops, highest unemployment rates, highest incarceration rates, baby mommas and baby daddies all over the damn place. As a group they don't come across looking so great, even if the ones on here will jump in and respond that they and their DH are Harvard educated neurosurgeons and 2 kids in private school.

Yeah but most of that is a result of whites abusing blacks for years, so perhaps your hate is misdirected. Amazing how black are enslaved for over 400 years, then go through another 100 years of Jim Crow and we receive all the blame for where we are. People like you are so ignorant it's disgusting.

And FYI, white women are fastest growing group of single moms in this country.

The thing that is most off-putting about them for me is how openly materialistic and money-obsessed most of them seem to be, and so unashamed of it too. When ever I'm around Indians they mostly talk about money, Dubai, expensive cars, expensive holidays or who we know that is rich. They also don't find it rude to ask people very plainly if they are rich.

Another thing that I find strange, but not necessarily annoying is how submissive they can be around people in positions of power, yet so nasty to people less important than them. I think in school and workplace environments Indians are more prone than others to ganging up on and bullying the weaker people and then being scared of their superiors (whether it be a teacher in school, boss at work or more popular person). They talk to their bosses and teachers as if they are scared of them or as if they are slaves talking to their masters, even though that's not how the relationship is meant to be in western working or learning environments I find this just completely bizarre.

And the women sometimes give me dirty looks when I'm with my Indian husband.

PP when you put out hate, judgemental vibes what do you think you'll receive? Your post reflects your immaturity. You also sound insecure

Well this thread has certainly followed the predicted path.

Unaware AA people. The ones who choose to live in the "Chocolate City" illusion and think that laws don't exist (or apply to them). The only thing they know is their narrow, parallel universe and that's how they like it.

Yeah, I tried to be patient with it. But, failed.
