Name something that was a COMPLETE waste of money

Second is our uppababy vista. It is so heavy and takes up so much space in the trunk of my sedan that I only use it for walking around the neighborhood. Bought a $50 Jeep stroller that I love.

I'm obsessed with my Vista. Going strong for kid#2, huge basket to hold all their stuff coming from daycare/groceries etc. Someone once called it the SUV of strollers - it totally is and I LOVE it.

1.) High end appliances...they didn't preform any better and had a shorter shelf life then my middle of the line maytag ones beforehand. I am a pretty decent cook so I thought I would be able to tell a difference and really enjoy them but it just wasn't the case.
2.) Montessori preschool for DC 1 and 2. It was not a bad school, just super over priced. I found a little church basement preschool for DC 3 that did the exact same thing for about 60% less.

I absolutely hate my Samsung dishwasher. The only cycle that cleans anything is "heavy". I started it this morning at 10am and it is STILL RUNNING AT NEARLY 1 PM. The prongs also make for awkward placement of dishes/pans. I was SO much happier with our Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher in our previous home but DH wanted all Samsung.

Samsung is considered high end for appliances?

Yes, they are trying to get in the high end market. It will take a few years but eventually they will perfect it and give the high end companies a run for their money. Basically what they did for washer/driers and fridges.

NP. I will never purchase another Samsong appliance. Both the diswasher and installed microwave were horrible. I ended up trading down and better for a Maytag.

Most of the make-up I have ever bought, especially the lip gloss I bought this morning. Looks terrible. $9 I'll never get back.

CVS will take back all beauty products - open and used - within 2 weeks with a receipt.

My fancy stroller. I can't remember the brand, but it was, like $400. I used it 3 or 4 times, and then realized that an umbrella stroller was so so much more useful and easy to haul on a bus.

Yikes. Hope the location was some where fun at least.

Meh, Would've been much more fun without having to sit through a wedding...

Seriously--that one was on you. How could you have thought that was a reasonable decision? Just say "Sorry, we can't come. Best wishes to you."

Yes, you tell my wife we're not going to her only sibling's wedding.

We knew there was a chance I would have a c-section and was aware that contractually she was not obligated to do anything in that situation, but she ended up making a lot of money for very little work (except some support pre-delivery). If I were in her shoes I would have returned some of the money.

1) you knew a C section was a possibility

2) if you contracted for her to be with you, then that is someone else she could have booked

3) chance you took

I'm not a doula, but the money you gave her was also saving your "spot" in line-- if she didn't have you as a client near your due date, she would have had another paying client in your place. If she returned the money of every client who didn't use her or "only used her for a few minutes because the baby came fast" then she may not be able to support her family.

I get that but we hired her two weeks prior and she said she hadn't had any inquiries at all for our month. As I said I paid and know what we were getting into but I personally would have felt badly about taking the money and would have given some back.

On you homie.
