Statistics Show an Ivy League Asian Quota

Anonymous
Only racial group remaining that lacks sufficient political power to stop blatant racial discrimination and racist comments on forums like this is Asian. Just think for a moment if any of the racist stereotypes and offensive comments directed at Asians would be acceptable for blacks or Hispanics. Those attacking the weakest group are cowards.

Jews were able to stop the Jewish quota of the 20s, 30s and 40s only by accumulating political and economic power to influence politicians and mass media to pressure the colleges to stop the quotas. Same old arguments were made decades ago regarding Jews that are being made now: We want to see other traits, test scores are not everything, leadership skill, well-roundness etc. Ironic that Jews who had gone through the same experience of being subjected to such quota and discrimination now exercise the same thing themselves now that they control the top colleges among other things.

Looks like the Racist has struck twice since this post.

The system has its origins at a time when officials were afraid alumni would be upset if large numbers of Jews or Catholics were admitted. Future students might choose another university. So in addition to an entrance exam, officials based admission decisions on subjective data such as personal background and recommendation letters. The American admissions process is not transparent and was never meant to be.

Before Jews began to increase in substantial numbers, the criteria was "entrance exam". So, the admission process became non-transparent in the 1920s to put limits on number of Jews. So, it is not true that the process was "never meant to" be transparent.

You missed the point. Read carefully.

Important point was left out. PP contradicted herself with the statement.

The Asian Racist is also a shameless sock puppet, if that wasn't already obvious.

The cheating mentality is bad for society. Cheaters are not people I would want my kids to go to college with. Their idea that rules don't apply to them continues for the rest of their lives and they are just sociopaths.

I think your posts demonstrate the point that some people are are capable of imposing quotas on racial group such as Asian Americans even in this post civil rights society.

If you've been paying attention, you'd know that any school that is recruiting full pay Chinese students is suspect: http://www.theatlantic.com/china/archive/2013/06/heres-the-quote-that-sums-up-chinas-huge-problem-of-cheating-in-schools/277108/

I stand firmly behind the ideal that every poster, of every race, is entitled to exercise their First Amendment rights - unless they are perpetrating fraud by pretending to be another poster who agrees with the first post, or by posting multiple times in a row to create the impression that there's more than one Racist here. Freedom of speech =/= multiple posts in the service of flagrant deception.

Cue Sousa music.

How about people at the wall street banks like Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas who may be criminally charged with financial crimes that affected potentially millions of people in this country and contributed to the financial crisis of 2008? They probably thought rules don't apply to them and continued to cheat for rest of their lives like sociopath. They probably had more impact on our economy and financial system than Chinese students cheating in China. Would you want your kids going to college with people like these?

So is this about the Ivy League or the LSE and Sciences Po? Your posts make no sense.

How about the Ivy kids that take ADHD medication to give them an edge? Isn't that cheating? And I doubt they are foreign students. Read the post about this.
