I was commenting on the irony, not the appropriateness.

C'mon now. The woman who worked for LLM killed her co-worker, another LLM employee, in the LLM company store. She could have chosen something else to wear.

"What a bunch of bitches!
If you were in the OP's position, you know that ALL of you would have posted what OP posted. "

Only when I was in high school.

Hi -- I'm a newspaper reporter at the Washington Post and I'd like to talk with the person who posted that Brittany Norwood was a babysitter for that person. Can you please call me at 202-253-7153 or hedgpethd@washpost.com. Thanks, Dana Hedgpeth

Get a life, don't give this person anymore press. No wonder your paper is going down the tubes. Is it news worthy to say the girl wa s a babysitter?

Extra Extra read all about it, Britnay Norwood was a babysitter

I hope it's a better story than ABC's hearsay teammate interview. Really, it was poorly written and executed.

Agree w/ PPs... there are definitely more interesting stories worth covering. Although, I admit I would probably read this one anyway.

I haven't read through all the posts so I don't know if this was mentioned, but OP--if she really did babysit for you, make sure there is nothing valuable missing from your house....

SEriosuly people, this is a great story and I commend the reporter for looking into it.

Not all things that newspapers report are "news." Many feature and "public interest stories" are not necessarily revelaing groundbreaking information, but things that the "public" might have an "interest" in. And given that people are clamoring for every possible shred of information about this woman, this story would be perfect.

Now, you might take issue with the state of humanity that people crave this information, but I wouldn't attack the reporter for doing her job.
