We all know it doesn’t matter who they are.

Actually it matters a lot.

You should probably reach out to Capital for that info instead of an anonymous message board.

There aren’t really 44 open slots, most if not all of the Middle School academy players have a spot penciled in so there are really only 14-15 slots.

There are probably 4-6 players that have one of those spots that also likely have a spot at an MD club so that could put another 4-6 spots in play.

Also, four of the 44 spots will go to goalies but I don’t have much insight into the goalie situation in the DMV.

For sure. BLC players went to MD club practices and tryouts. Could be other spots open.

how many players are we talking about here?

I can say with certainty that the entire team went to a practice in Maryland.

At least half the team has gone to open practices on MD teams so far.

Capital doesn’t practice very often so the coaching is not that important. You’re banking on the reputation and what high school you select.

Agreed. The strongest combination is Capital Blue / SSSAS.

Its pretty amazing Capital doesn't have practices, coaches or a social media presence and they still maintain one of the most impressive college commit lists every year.

Hint: It’s the connections and reputation, not the play on the field.

As long as KJ is at SSSAS, that is the best avenue for recruitment.

We know a few players who are already looking at other clubs and are not interested in signing up with Capital even if they get an offer.

Objectively it’s fair to say they’re equals at this point.
