Is Springfield really “the bootyhole” of NoVa?

It’s not that bad, it’s not some unlivable hellhole, but there are a lot more nicer small cities in NOVA that make it seem worse than it is. Having metro access makes it instantly better than Woodbridge and Manassas.

If we are getting technical I would argue that the seven corners intersection is the “booty hole” of NOVA. It’s certainly earned the title and it’s right in the center.

The drive along Rt 7 from Skyline to Seven Corners is among the most visually unappealing in the entire country, and Canada as well. There's no need to mince words here.

Even the mean streets of Patterson NJ or Stockton, Calif have some charm. I've just about seen it all. Not knocking the businesses or residents in the adjacent neighborhoods. But that stretch of Rt 7 just an extremely ugly area that Fairfax County has done nothing to improve. Nothing at all.
