Closed on Friday or early closing?

As of 9pmish, Capital weather gang moved the 1-2" snow line up to mid fairfax county with a 25% chance of 2-4". I'd agree that they will close as long as it looks like we're actually going to get the projected snow totals.

Does anyone know: if they do cancel school tomorrow, does that necessarily mean that all evening activities are canceled too?

We have an FCPS activity at 8pm tomorrow. It looks like all of the weather will be long since done at that point. But will it be canceled just because the school day was canceled?

This isn’t worth the stress of driving to work today. I have a longer commute and to risk the car and myself for 4 hours of “teaching.” On a day like today, that means the kids will be too excited to learn and it will be all about behavior management. I’m calling out.
