Yeah I’m shallow enough to admit I was ready for an album of pop bangers a la 1989. I haven’t stumbled on an ear worm yet. But she sure has a way with words. |
| So many cringey lyrics |
| Actually romantic will be the song all your teenage and 20 year old daughters sing when someone is talking shit about them behind thier back. |
Kids aren't checking for her like that. Swift's core fan base is 43 year old wine moms and spinsters. |
And 8-18 year olds. I am 44 and my DD is 11 and we both love her
|
+1. English teacher/poet? More like an arrested development 11th grade mean girl. |
Actually, I can only name a a couple songs so I’m not a swifty but I respect that heck out of who she is as a person so your analysis of me is incorrect. |
Um, do you just post to post with no credibility to your statements, often? Her tour was filled with young girls and teenagers. |
She's always had cringe lyrics but she doesn't care. |
| For me this was her weakest album by far but I am sure some songs will bee good |
Really? I think Life of Ophelia totally is. There will probably never be another Style though. That is unmatched. |
Do you have teens? My DD went to a midnight listing party with a bunch of other high school girls. They have plans tonight to go to the movie. |
I agree that life of Ophelia is definitely a song you can dance around too, we were dancing around in the kitchen to it this morning. But if people were looking for shake it off, are you ready for it, etc. that’s not what this album is giving. |
| They’re talking about the album on CNN right now lol |
True but I never liked Shake it Off anyway. Hehe. |
