They need 7 Dems to flip so now 6 with Fetterman. The problem is that Dems have zero power. They can shut down the govt to make a statement but they’ll never get what it is they’re asking for. R’s will not compromise. You can’t make a deal with the devil.

Does anyone else think they’re going to make us all work without pay? We haven’t received any guidance yet and we typically do. Also, OPM removed all the shutdown plans.

yes. i think this is the play here if the shutdown happens. the powers that be make everyone essential and we all keep working, even though the gov isnt funded. my hope is that congress figures it out before folks start missing paychecks.
