You may have a wasp nest somewhere and there's a little hole they got into your house. We had a wasps coming from outside through our siding who built a nest in our ceiling in our living room. And one day the ceiling broke and we had hundreds of wasps in our house. Not fun. Anyway, I will try to find out where they're coming in from so that you can call pest control and they can take care of it.

💯 agree I am so concerned about the future of our country. We already lost our middle class but now the divide of the have and have Nots is getting even greater, women's rights are being eroded, it feels like on a daily basis, and I have a 20-year-old daughter, so that scares me, what I see happening with the immigrants in our country is shocking and I cannot believe we're allowing it to happen, and just the general hate I see in posts and in the general public towards people who are "different".

I would say our education system failed us, but I think it's really our legislative system that has failed us. Our legislators are not legislating. It's all about "winning" and nothing about what is a good for our people.

Wow. That’s it?

What are you going to do about it?

-Not worrying about Crime. (We have a gun and other protection)
- Not worrying about female reproductive rights. (We can go to country of origin for all medical tourism, plus kids are sensible)
- Not worrying about AI. (Too many stupid and ill-educated people to be ever able to use AI properly. Besides, if everyone is unemployed, who will buy Amazon stuff?)
- Not worried about Global Warming? (Fux it)
- Not worried about microplastics. (Lessen use. Try and remain healthy. Fux it)
- My Cancer. (ok. Fux it too. It is annoying but I will be ok)
- Not worried about DH's job security. (We are retirement age. kids are done with college. We have good savings)
- Not worried about our house payments( Low mortgage. Decent sized home).
- Not worried about retirement. (We will age in place)
- Worried about my grown kids future. (They are saving and being careful. We will bankroll as much as we can).

imminent pandemic? What are you talking about not being snarky asking seriously.

You don't know?! It's been all over the news today in Germany.

I just did a news search and can't find anything about it.

I'm extremely concerned about my kids growing up in an oppressive environment with millions of people who actually chose this. WTF?

Tell at least one close friend (even if you say “this was probably nothing, but…”)and write it out in a note somewhere where someone could find it. And then start quietly making some financial and legal arrangements for yourself. Very quietly. You are at risk and I’m not saying this lightly. Clear your browser history on the device where you posted this. Look up the documents you need to gather and start gathering the names of attorneys who work on high-conflict or dv divorce cases. I know it is not easy to just leave for an apartment especially if you have kids, but start making a safety plan.

Your job now is to get your brain from “it’s fine and this was just a blip” mode to “this is a sign of things to come and I need to face reality” mode. I have been in your shoes and I know how hard it is.

My mentally ill 40 year old sister, who thinks I'm the cause of her problems and that I did voodoo on her.
And she calls my friends to tell them about me.
Her conversations with people start out as normal but as soon as you hear voodoo, anyone would know it's not normal.

It’s easy to forget that everyone is carrying invisible burdens—big or small—while still trying to keep life moving. Grace gives people room to be human, and it often creates a ripple effect.
