I've heard both Kamala Harris and Ketanji Brown Jackson referred to as "DEI hires" by people like you. But which is more racist - the fact that they are the first Black female VP and SC justice respectively, or the fact that nobody who occupied those positions between 1789 and 2021 was a Black female?

NP. People said that because Biden literally said he was going to choose a woman of color for each of those positions. Why didn’t he just say he was going to choose the best person & then pick them anyway? He is partially at fault for this perception.

And yes of course racism & sexism kept people like them out for centuries.

We have a police of chief in DC who doesn't know what the "chain of command" is. Of course she was hired for DEI purposes. We all suffer when we get DEI leadership instead of competence.

The sad fact is that today’s MAGA white male just can’t keep up in a true meritocracy. So many are just confidently mediocre and entitled, can’t be trained, and are a liability around women and POC clients and other employees. Once you see past the bluster they’re done. Trump isn’t going to change that. The only way they can compete against people who are smarter than them and to take their place among the well connected and well born is to get rid of the competition. Which they are working very hard to do.

What you just wrote is racist and bigoted against working class white men as a group. You are proving that white men are being targeted for their race and gender. You are proving the need to help that specific group with policies that give them a boost just like other racial groups that face discrimination. Well done.

Equality feels like oppression to the privileged. Case in point above.

Hegseth is the ultimate example of this.

Exactly. Yet MAGA Margie only cares about the Black woman, who ask successfully brought down crime in the city.

Is Kamala Harris on paper any less qualified to be VP than any of the other VPs in Americas history? Was she less qualified than JD Vance or Mike Pence, No!

If she was a white man nobody would have questioned the qualification of a Senator and Attorney General !

VP of Vacations is proving he’s a do-nothing. Definitely not qualified, a liar, and working for someone he called “Hitler.”

That's the fundamentally broken logic of the people who bleat constantly about "DEI" - they automatically assume the non-white, non-male person who got the job was unqualified, when that's not the case.

Exactly in a nut shell.

I don’t believe this is nothing but a lie. Before Pam Smith was CoP for MPD, she was CoP for US Park Poluce, so of course she knows “chain of command”.

Kamala is three times more qualified than JD Vance. All his resume has on it is a 4-year senator from Ohio who wrote a book of fiction.

OMG. Are you freaking stupid, it just a bone-headed liar. She was asked if she knew what the new chain of command is after Trump’s takeover. This takeover is sprung in her. If she has not been updated yet, how would’ve know that both Bowser and hearings have been clipped and now the other Pam aka Bondi is running MPD.

That's the whole problem. There are TONS of qualified women and people of color who could serve as Vice President or SCOTUS justices, it's racism and acting like it's somehow unfair for any of them to be chosen that has kept them out of office.

Reporter: "Can you tell us what the chain of command is now?"

Chief Smith "What does that mean?

Reporter: "What is it? Pam Bondi? Is it the mayor? How does this work?"

Chief Smith looks down and mumbles "Mayor?"

Mayor Bowser steps in and competantly answers the question.

What is the lie? The police chief can't answer a softball question. She either doesn't know what a "chain of command is" or she has no idea who she reports to. Either one does not inspire confidence in a senior leader.
