Wow….that is one of the nicest dorms I’ve ever seen. Do you know if it is possible to tour ? |
A lot people on this thread take this for granted. If you are 100% certain on your major, then this is not a problem. Both Tulane and Pepperdine operate as a liberal arts school for undergrads, allowing you to explore before committing to a major. |
I dont think anyone that is not a resident can get in. Just email the school about touring dorms. |
Centennial Village at Miami is a perfect example of reality vs fiction for that university.
It is a nice new hall, with higher ceilings, larger windows and good vibe. But there are no hot tubs or party lounges, it is just a nice dorm intended to make sure students leave their room and socialize. I do like the bathroom setups, they are pod style where you have a toilet, vanity and shower you can lock into for as long as you need. They also have laundry machines every floor in multiple locations. |
Oh no! No hot Tubs or Party Lounges? I’m out….going to Tulane instead…. ![]() |
And at Pepperdine, you and 85% of the class will be abroad in your sophomore year. Amazing study abroad experience coupled with a liberal arts set up. |
Hahahahahahahaha |
The rankings are based on kids of things not relevant to academics and future. |
Wonder if USNWR will change methodology again this yr or next year? |
It might be another year before the pressure to change kicks in.
Why worry about rankings? I know some of you cant stand the fact the these 3 schools dropped a lot, specially Tulane and Pepperdine, but who cares about USNWR rankings. These are great schools. |
One of these schools is NOTHING like the others ![]() |
Are you referring to 2025 ratings?Tulane seems pretty high. |
Yes, one if for Jewish kids, one for Christian kids and one for wealthy Hispanics… |
FIXED |
True - but Tulane gives decent merit and financial aid. |
