So….. let me get this straight…. Hispanics at Pepperdine look white, but hispanics at CSU look hispanic?

Have you ever been to a CSU campus vs a U of Miami or Pepperdine campus?

What’s a CSU Hispanic?

Miami is now test required. This tells something about the caliber of school.

So I guess you think Princeton is a low caliber school…

That it has higher standards for admission than others?

California State. I guess the PP is inferring that due to socio-economic reasons, the Hispanics at CSU look (ethnically - Mestizo) different than the Hispanics at Private schools like Pepperdine (White Mexicans - European ancestry).

wow surprise! Miami and Tulane are so different. Miami a lot harder to get into- my sons class did not do well with only 2 or 3 getting into Miami however I think everyone got into Tulane.

A lot crossover between these. My son got in Miami and Pepperdine and was waitlisted at Tulane. Got off the list last week, but he is going to Miami.

The data doesn’t say that. Both schools have large ED admissions. Tulane is at 15% and Miami 19% per last yr CDS.

not sure what you're trying to say but I'm fairly certain you're wrong.
UMiami was ranked #38 by USNWR in 2011.
UMiami was ranked #49 by USNWR in 2021.

meant to say that in 2025, Tulane and Miami were tied, despite 50 years of Tulane being ranked higher than Tulane every year but 2011. Historically Tulane has been ranked higher than Miami. Not by much. Same with Pepperdine.
2021 - Tulane 42, Pepperdine & Miami 49,
2022 - Tulane 41, Pepperdine 49, Miami not top 50
Jump to 2025: Miami 63, Tulane 63, Pepperdine 80

DS was accepted to Miami and Pepperdine (alongside SMU, Baylor, SCU and LMU). He ended up selecting Pepperdine after their admissions day.
