You are making a joke about a person's life, you know. |
Nope, he did not file an asylum claim. He was seen in immigration court and the judge ruled he cannot be deported to El Salvador. The irony is he could have been legally deported anywhere else on earth, that’s how incompetent this admin is. |
Trump supporters are just like him; they only care about themselves. As long as someone else is feeling the pain, they don’t care about the details. If they have something to gain from pain inflicted on others, so much the better. When he inflicts the pain on them, they assume it’s a mistake. |
The January 6ers received due process, had their day in court with the government having to meet the burden of proof, had free attorneys provided if they couldn’t afford to pay for legal representation, could file appeals, and most of them were not incarcerated while awaiting trial. Those who were incarcerated still had access to legal representation. The man wrongfully deported would be much, much safer and more comfortable in the US justice system, even if he ended up incarcerated here. His family would probably make that trade in a heartbeat. |
What do you mean he could have been legally deported to other countries? Can you explain please ? |
There is a provision where someone can say they are under threat if they are sent back to their home country. |
It's sickening. This man is a father, in the US legally and married lawfully to a US citizen and he has a child (young, disabled) who needs his dad. Most importantly, he does nothing wrong and didn't deserve to be deported and thrown into an inhumane jail with criminals and gang members being roughly treated. This could happen to us if he's allowed to make these kind of "mistakes" to Americans with no accountability. Trump has no empathy or conscience. This man will not survive this jail. He needs to fix this and prioritize this American man's life. |
Cory Booker talked about this in his long, record-breaking Senate floor speech. It was heartbreaking and the comments are Americans who are arranged Trump won't fix this or help Kilmar Garcia escape this horrible nightmare prison in El Salvador where he was sent due to Trump "administrative error".
Just sickening and unacceptable. |
“ Abrego Garcia in 2019 he was served a notice to appear in immigration court. An immigration judge did find him to be removable from the U.S. — but granted him a withholding of removal, which barred the U.S. government from deporting him to El Salvador specifically.” https://www.npr.org/2025/04/01/nx-s1-5347427/maryland-el-salvador-error In their rush to be cruel they have—once again— failed to be competent. If a third country took Garcia there would be no legal wrongdoing here. |
Which would be a sick burn if only you or anyone else had a shred of evidence he was, you know, a “crime boss” |
Do you know what due process is? That's what we are asking for. We are all fine with the crime boss going to jail. Not fine >> innocent people being sent to a horrible prison in El Salvador. Are you fine with that? Are you ok with that risk? |
The Middle Schoolers sneak onto DCUM after midnight. |
+1000 A lot of these Republicans have no empathy. They also lack any awareness of how this could affect them. Imagine a Democratic administration arrests you and sends you to that slave labor camp. Who’s going to stop them? The courts? You aren’t given the chance to prove you’re a citizen in front of a court. |
If you are here illegally you should leave the country rather than risk ending up in prison in El Salvador. Don't make up stories about gangs threating your mom's pupusa restaurant. |
