For now, yes. But, it’s dying on the boys side. In a few years, MLSN II could surpass. |
Only 3 clubs left in ECNL NATIONAL in the NOVA & MD area. ARL, VDA and FVU. Everything else is MLS Next. SYC, ASA, Achilles FC, Baltimore Armour, Bethesda SC |
| There’s pipeline too. But doesn’t matter ECNL nova is basically ECNL NC. Enjoy all the time in the car. |
And Loudoun/NVA next year. |
Ok nice try. Let’s add Pipeline , Celtic, Maryland United and Richmond (I mean if you are going to add Armour in there). The leagues have split the clubs- there are strong and weak clubs and teams on each - neither league has yet monopolized the DMV just yet. VDA and Pipeline could probably beat majority of Next teams in this area. Armour could beat majority of ECNL teams. ECNL serves the players who wants to play HS and seek college over pro. Simple as that. You are either driving to PA/ NY for Next or NC for ECNL. Simple as that. |
How about WV and DC United. MLSN could also serve the players who want to play college. |
