No, it's not unethical.

Please clarify what "ethics" this would be breaking, MAGA person.

If your kid is spouting off about Trump in the classroom, the teacher should be able to respond.

I would have visited the teacher and the prnicipal wearing my maga cap. "NO political correctness or DEI crap allowed in my kid's education" would have been my opening statement.

Why are you even spewing your personal political garbage?

I think it’s unprofessional. But is it something to be written up for? Probably not.

We barely have teachers and subs these days....it's unprofessional but that teacher is not going anywhere OP and children know that this country is very divided right now.It is what it is.

How can anyone discuss current events in school without begin critical of Trump? You'd either have to not have current events in the curriculum or lie.

Why would you allow that? That's against dress code at our school, thankfully.

It’s called an education
The constitution is part of our education and that pos doesn’t represent our laws so yes teachers dam well can teach Trump is a traitor and another an American

American history includes the US constitution it includes slavery and it dam-well includes native Americans and it does not include dumbing down for Republican Christian nationalists.

So yes teachers should yea h about Jan 6 th and a coup ad well!
