Why are attitudes suddenly changing about Vance?

Trump is far more gracious than Biden. If he felt he was ailing, he would definitely step down to let Vance get sworn in. He chose Vance because he’s young and smart. His ego isn’t bothered by Vance’s superior IQ. Most presidents don’t choose VP’s that are smarter or can outshine them. It’s like Biden and Harris and Obama and Biden, etc.. Biden would never let Kamala get the opportunity to become Pres for a few days let alone months.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bill Clinton: Georgetown undergrad, Rhodes scholar at Oxford, Yale law, Arkansas AG, two trm governor, president

JD Vance: Marine Corp, Ohio State undergrad, corporate law practice, venture capital, wrote that book, US Senate, VP

Both impressive but Clinton has more impressive academic credentials and a more impressive career path with way more executive experience and was widely viewed as the smartest guy in every room he entered for most of his career. Vance is smart and clearly worked hard but lacks Clinton's natural charm, oratory skill, or ability to command a room. Everyone who met Bill Clinton thought "this guy could be president." Vance has meandered and scrapped, it's a very different trajectory.

^ sorry that should also list Yale law for Vance.

Could be. Authors usually aren't. Senators, for that matter, usually aren't.

Trump could come tottering into a White House press conference in his underwear yelling "Yabba Dabba Doo" and sprinkling torn-up cheeseburger wrappers like a flower girl at a wedding and Republicans would still say "no, he's fine, he isn't ailing and how dare you suggest such a thing."

Also Vance: "Trump is Hitler"

Vance has no genuine or serious positions. He's a charlatan who blows with the breeze. The one thing he managed to do was find the right way to kiss Trump's ass.

Exactly.

Listen, if people vote for and even like Trump, then anyone can get elected. Anyone can get good press. Shoot, I think Americans would elect John Wayne Gasey if they thought it would help their bank accounts. America worships money and nothing or no one else.

He has a smooth voice and talks well but not smart in any way.

So, you mean - like Democrats did for Biden's entire administration until they realized the gig was up and Americans really aren't stupid? Oh.

Vance won’t be elected in 2028. Trump will run again or leave the kingdom to JR.

To first message

Yes because we are a nation building country. Afghanistan, Vietnam, Iraq…and so successful at it.

My attitude towards Vance hasn't changed at all. If it's changed for others, it's because people have very short memories.

This is a truly impressive amount of cope.

Former democrat here who voted for Stein because of Gaza: JD Vance is articulate and clearly cares about families. He wants to raise the child tax credit which is a good thing. He’s good on anti trust and is a fan of Lina Khan.
