UA 150

2029 dad- you are 100% right but the angry mommies here will never admit it. They are sooooo upset about their daughter’s not being stars.

I just looked at ua rosters and those are all really good players. What the heck is “wine mom” talking about?

A national h.s. club title?

No, a NCAA National title, from only pool of NCAA players from AACo/Kent Island.

2029 daddy going to have a rough few years ahead, but I love having him for entertainment, already screenshoted his posts and sent to others so they could have a laugh.

Anyone else have their kid attend the UA150 last year and the first group of 40 yd dash kids had to redo them after the first day of games because they had them running 45 yds by mistake? LOL. No, just mine?

Two things:

1) wine mom is a drunk loser, so she probably argues with everyone at every opportunity; and
2) her kid sucks, so she is bitter and therefore UA150 is terrible and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

Loser behavior, but typical for the area.

There's talent in that area. But enough to field an entire team to contend for a national title? Nah brah

LOL, such a salty, angry dork.

My son had a wonderful D1 career, my oldest daughter is a D1 commit, and my next daughter is pretty good and has a chance to follow in their footsteps. My 2029 is just in it for fun, so the pressure is off there, I will be fine.

You, on the other hand, will continue to be a dried up, salty, drunk, SSRI guzzling loser. You will watch all of the girls on the first wave UA150 lists commit to wonderful programs, and you will be bitter when sober enough to know what’s going on.

Anonymous wrote:Yes, it is a top heavy class. There are good kids on non top 10 teams, but the gap between tops teams and rest of country is a little more severe than some other classes. The top 3 teams at that age group (YJLI, M&D black, and MDU) are pretty far ahead of everyone else at this point as teams, but lots of talent around country.

The gap gets closer as the girls get older. I can see some up and coming teams challenging the 3 mentioned. But you are correct that those 3 teams will stay near the top.

MDU might be the top club at actually developing lacrosse talent (or they just get naturals due to the Annapolis location) but either way if this 2030 team can avoid losing kids to Hero's M&D and Skywalkers like many of the previous grad classes they will remain in top-5 for years.

2027 and 2028s both seem to have kept most of the talent there and are both top-15 teams.

Not even close! MDU doesn’t recruit, most of the coaches are terrible, and they consistently lose their top talent once parents figure it out. They are lucky to be somewhat isolated from the bmore teams, they are good in years where the Annapolis area has talent and they don’t split it with Integrity. The 2027s are what they are and have held steady, but the 2028 team is losing ground every year. They went from winning NGLL Mid Atlantic, to being top 3, to being top 10, to now hanging on to top 15. They will not be a top 10 team again, zero recruiting.

LOL, this is 2029 dad isn't it?

Being ranked in the top-15 is pretty good thing, so the 2028s went from 3 to 5 to 9 to 12, so what, plenty of talent there. You can't spin that as a negative 2029 dad.

Being top 15 is great, but my point is the trajectory is headed in wrong direction, which was a response to someone saying that MDU develops talents, because they dont. If they did, that 2028 team would’ve stayed in top 5. They will soon fade out of top 15 too, just wait.

Maybe you don't understand what "development" means but it means taking young players and making them better. Keeping that talent through recruiting years is much different. If you followed the grad years as close as you say you do, you'd know there are top-10 ranked players on M&D who were on MDU in 3rd-4th-5th grad.

Skywalkers is perfect example. They add over 50% of their HS teams from other clubs. Same will happen with 2029, 2030s.

Lol, i know what development means. Outside of one elite talent, that 2028 MDU East team has remained unchanged, yet they are losing ground to competition; so what does that say about the team’s development?

I work with M&D all the time, not many 2027 or 2028 MDU players have come over, which are the teams we were discussing. 2029 East team lost two great players to M&D, but that’s it. Skywalkers is a joke now, Coppermine ate their lunch. Why would anyone leave the 28, 29, or 30 coppermine, M&D, or Heros teams to go to SW now? Recruiting??? Nah, those teams will keep their players and SW will just be a marginal A team from here on out.

We are actually discussing all the 2024s, 2025s, 2026s, 2027s, 2028s, 2029s, 2030s, because you mentioned them. If you forgot, go back a page and read how you said the 2029s are "more stacked" than any of them. LOL.

Are you drunk already, you loser??? I was replying to someone who specifically mentioned the 27 and 28 teams, you moron.

But if you would like, I will be able to show
MDU’s lack of development with the other age groups too:

2025: average squad, never developed into anything more than that.

2026: horrible team, never improved and got worse.

2029: top 5 team in 6th grade and barely held onto top 15 last year. This year they will fall out of top 20, zero development.

2030: stud team, should remain that way, actually have good coaches at that age group.

Agree with this poster. MDU has one elite team at the moment, 2030s. If Mdu is doing such a good job in development why are the girls leaving?

Elite development happens outside the club level. Wouldn't be surprised for this to be the last year for Mdu's 2030 being in top 5.

Yeah, no, that's not how stuff works. Big bravado though! But I'm sure the girls will do fine.

Brand. There is M&D and Hero's locally who have better brands. Skywalkers is in that conversation based on not so recent history. That's it.
No one is saying that MDU is some elite club, simply stating the kids that have played there at some point is about as impressive as it can get outside of a few clubs.

I've seen the MDU 2030s, they are ballers. Credit goes to the MDU 2030 coaches who got the top kids locally and took it from there. You got to remember, HG and M&D had 1st and 2nd graders playing up on club teams before other local clubs did.

CCLax for example, for years didn't do NGLL, only played summer tournaments.

Then started allowing their middle school ages schools, now finally all ages do NGLL.

this thread is the perfect example of "empty barrels make the most noise."

Of it's not that, it's some high schooler making parady posts, bc it's so over the top, it can't actually be a serious person.

Dunno, dude seems like he knows what he’s talking about and others are agreeing with him. Maybe you are just upset that he is speaking the truth?
