Nobody talks about Biden anymore

I don’t think Harris wants her help. Harris was handed the candidacy by Biden and has now all but frozen them out of her campaign. No gratitude among politicians, apparently.

She spoke about Biden at the beginning of the Vegas speech last night, it was lovely.

It's better if he isn't talked about too much.

I'm sure Harris doesn't have anything against him. But he was struggling in the polls not just because of his age. It was his policies too the less people are reminded of that the better

Harris can't stand Jill. They barely spoke to each other in 4 years. I don't see any reason for them to maintain any relations after Biden was kicked out.

He’s wildly unpopular. If she wants to win, he needs to stay away.
If he cares about the country, over his ego, he will abide.
Also: he’s too old to campaign. He was too old for his campaign. He is still too old to campaign for her.

If he is too old to campaign, how in the world he was nominated?

He was younger in 2019.
You understand how time works, right?

Pp was clearly referring to him being nearly nominated in 2024. The real question is whether he can / is able to fulfill his current role and finish this term.

He says he is campaigning with her this week.

Oh, interesting! Thank you

Wow— then Harris’ ascension must be pretty hard on her. I wonder what caused the rift.

Source? Have heard nothing about animosity between them, although I’d understand why she won’t seek her out for her campaign, since Jill has never run for office herself.

History will look upon him favorably for his stepping aside to save our country. Love the pictures of him on the beach and biking! He’s earned a bit of r and r for his work to bring Americans home and for his many days and nights of work over the many years he’s been a public servant. He’ll finish his term strong and then hopefully have many, many more days on the beach and biking.

He'll be ranked behind Jimmy Carter.
And, he did NOT step aside. He was forced aside. He was threatened with the 25th amendment if he didn't step down. He had no choice.
And, he is hardly finishing his term strong. One event and 2 phone calls last week is not strong.
Meanwhile, Iran is threatening and high prices are affecting the lives of Americans.
And, we had a base attacked with 6 or 7 service members critically injured. Crickets from Joe and Kamala.
Biden goes to the beach.

+1 It’s as if some of these posters are living in an alternate reality.

That's a great question and highlights the fact that perhaps Trump should not be elected because he too will be biden's age when he is in office..... I don't think anyone should be that old and be the president

I’ve never seen a corpse ride a bike before. Interesting.

He can clearly finish out his term and then retire to his Delaware houses. He deserves every bit of credit for stepping in to stop Trump and turn the country around during and post COVID. History will treat him very kindly, both for his personal tragedies as well as his one term in office. Were there missteps and gaffes along the way? Of course, we are all human. He probably would like a do-over on the Thomas hearings.
