It's amazing they bring this negative energy to the table when we're dealing with sweet kids. Mean. They also drink, pop pills, and smoke weed. You can't make up this crap. It's amazing.

Wut.

Lots of neurotic, insecure, anxious weirdos posting.

It’s literally all in your head, pp. No one is thinking about you at all, let alone this much.

You are delusional. The stories I could share...

You and your friend are idiots. You actually believe she can know[i] this. Everyone in the US is on it if they can be.

I live in North Arlington, trust me when I tell you this happens here, too. If you're not cute and white and blonde, you're not part of the bus stop crew. Your kid might be invited to the bus stop end of year party, but you will be largely ignored.

This makes me a lot happier about my community. All of the moms are mostly Indian and most of them group together, but we still smile at each other and talk from time to time. I don’t think they’re gossiping about me or other moms! There are a few other non Indian moms (three or so) and we also chat from time to time but we aren’t friends. I try to suggest group activities so our kids can go to same camp, sport. That’s basically all we talk about. Me and one other mom who is European are the only white moms. I guess living in an immigrant community has its perks. Being super close to the neighbors can get very awkward if there is a clash. We live in townhouses so we are all super close to each other.

Where do you live? Where I live the Indian moms are definitely gossiping, it's just that you don't know it because they are talking in their mother tongues. They are also terribly snobby about leaving about American borns like me.

They can also be as bad to other Indian moms. A lot of Indian moms are lonely too.

I lived in Ashburn for 4 years and it is one of the worst places I have ever lived in. Catty, insecure, jealous moms. I am not sure why this people like this.

maybe try the Del Rey part of Alexandria.

Or Springfield seems to have more down to earth people?

You mean the moms of Del Ray that have "Everyone is Welcome Here!" signs in their yard but sneak out at night to vandalize JD Vance's home? Or the ones that started a petition to get his wife and kids banned from local establishments?

In fairness, JD Vance is human garbage, so no one wants that in their neighborhood. Not because of his background or appearance, but because of his loathsome positions and loving Trump.

So you are cool with it if people vandalize other people’s homes when they disagree with their policy views? Or is it just when YOU disagree with their policy views?

Putting cute yarn up on trees/posts near their home is hardly vandalizing it. You sound like that loser nutjob Hawes who lied and said the people demonstrating outside his home threatened his family and tried to break in to his home and vandalized it. No such thing happened. Even the police said it was peaceful and no one approached their home.

Lol.
And if you mention your kid getting a higher iready/SAT etc score than their kid, watch out as the fangs come out.

If you or your family have one iota of anything more than the mean mommy who rules the pack...

True story. There was so much competition for the end of year elementary awards that the principal moved from being an event for the whole school to sit through. Only the kids getting the awards and their parents were invited. One of the psycho moms from my neighborhood who was obsessed with my kids parked her car on my street and followed me to the school to see if my kid was getting an award. I am not making this up. She told other people she did this.

I saw so much outrageous behavior during the mommy years that I know you're not exaggerating, lol.

Go to Burke, or Fairfax - you're more likely to find less snobbery and more down-to-earth people.

I live in Lorton - moms are just as catty and competitive. My neighborhood is incredibly cliquey. It’s awful. It’s gotten better as my kids have gotten older and I don’t need to socialize as much with the neighborhood crew.

+1 JD Vance is awful.

I just find it strange why he would live in such a far left neighborhood. He would be a better fit in maybe McLean.

I hate Ashburn so much, worst city in the state

London, Ashburn, Lorton - it's all a suburban hellscape.
-signed grew up in Arlingon, my daily commute is thru Central Park on a bike and nobody cares what one drives except the very rich and the very poor who drive the Chevy Suburbans of the very rich but they might be Uber drivers so nobody knows since the cars spend most of their time in a multi-storey garage

Ashburn is 90% south asian and everyone is related and in competition. Lots of backstabbing and super catty moms who have nothing else to do but manage and manipulate their kids college plans.

Just go buy your cheap Tesla and sign up for TJ prep class. You'll be fine.
