People who commit suicide are not mentally well.

Quick. Without looking it up. What is the name of the woman who set herself on fire at the Israeli Embassy in Atlanta?

My heart goes out to this young man’s parents and loved ones.

His brave death is a different affront to the US Israeli propaganda machine.

Americans are watching.

No one cares. Soon this thread will die and he will be forgotten like 99.9999999999% of all of the other mentally ill radicals.

NP. I’m pretty sure that woman’s name hasn’t released. Aaron Bushnell appears to have been more media-savy and it has helped his cause.

Every accusation is a projection.

It’s just getting started. A lot of fools in power have dug themselves into deep holes and they don’t know it yet.

I’m pretty sure you’re not a good judge of this event or of suicide.

No. People will forget. Bravery?

He will be remembered as mentally ill, if at all.

Pathetic cope.

That man died in a way no person should die and that he did that to himself is deeply disturbing. I don’t know what was accomplished by such a death; it’s very sad for him and his family for that to be his last moments on earth. That poor man.

Nothing was accomplished except that it brought satisfaction to those who assess should feel plain because people in Gaza feel plain.

That you’re so confused makes your attempt at being categorical even more pathetic.

It is heartbreaking. However, he sent a message. The least you can do is not try and silence that.

He sent the message that the Free Palestine/By Any Means Necessary people are absolute lunatics. Do you think that this guy setting himself on fire reaches ANYONE who wasn't on your side already? I mean in a positive way - do you think it reaches anyone in a positive way.

What we see is a bunch of people we already thought were kind of nuts - weird, probably anti-semitic, but maybe their hearts were otherwise in the right place - cheering on a man who set himself aflame, calling him a hero and martyr, setting the stage for the next suicide.

I promise this does not do your side any good.

meanwhile in the totally not a death cult part of the free palestine movement

you can protest peacefully, hunger strike - but, as evidenced by this thread, apparently you can indeed self-immolate all you want.

i think it's probably good to have rules against hijacking planes, even for the most sacred causes.

All I see is a mentally ill young man who bought into the most basic pro-Hamas propaganda and killed himself over it in a horrible and gruesome way, accomplishing nothing but pain for his family and praise from the vilest people who think he is worth more dead than alive.
