To be fair, Melania wasn’t a conventional First Lady (and her husband was not a conventional president), starting with her background, profession, and public record of nude photos. She’s in a category of her own. Laura Bush—the last Republican FL before Melania—was not widely criticized by the left and struck a good balance between fulfilling obligations of a FL and keeping a low profile.

I like it better when I ignore the dancers and just look at the nice decorations. Overacting in the beginning, weird hunger game meets Sex Education outfits, and I’m not a tap fan. But it doesn’t offend me. I just think it could have been better.
