I'm the PP - this is who I was responding to in the previous message.

If the superintendent thinks she’s done nothing wrong, she should insist that her name be unredacted in the Jackson Lewis report. Otherwise, she should resign.

It is her report. She can un-redact her name today.

Does anyone here actually have students are Farquhar? What’s the school like right now?

The school has been horrible since Beidleman left. One thing is for sure he cared about the kids.

Another simpleminded solution.

He didn’t care about the kids. He barely dealt with them. He cared about the power he held over everyone in that building. He cared about being the most powerful man in the room at all times. He cared about sleeping with his secretary and getting whatever he wanted by manipulating and intimidating.

So is that what happened? Jane Doe found out he was allegedly sleeping with the Secretary and got upset.

She blamed the scandal and events going on in the world as reasons why her school staff are miserable. There continues to be no self-reflection.

Schools are drowning right now with added responsibilities due to low staffing but central office "instructional specialist" positions seem to be multiplying like Gremlins who got wet after midnight.

Is Monifa responsible for anything? She can't alleviate poor staff morale? She is the one setting the toxic tone that has crashed morale. What is wrong with the BOE? When are they going to take the steps to move a school district in the right direction. The ship is sinking.

If the BOE fired McKnight today, would staff morale suddenly improve?

Yes! It would show a glimmer of hope that the BOE sees through the smoke and mirrors MCPs has put up year after year.

In order to change things you need to get rid of all the top people in MCPS, and the BOE and bring in all new. But, even thing it would take many years to fix all the issues. Of course, they should start with transparency. I don't care if she stays or goes because reality is with the current BOE, nothing will change and they will just put another figure head in place to do their bidding.

Did you even pay attention. It wasn't just the secretary, he harassed multiple women and students. That's not ok. And, its not ok he was having a public affair while married.

WAY better without the fear of being publicly shamed, ogled or have your mental health questioned at faculty meetings.
