DCUM gonna DCUM.

Until every child gets straight A's we won't have achieved equity!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Equity - everyone does what they can and the government gives them what it believes they need. But it totally not Marxism.

Can you rewrite your message so that it makes sense? I’m interested in what you’re trying to say but can’t make sense of it.

Electives teacher here. They are always shocked they are failing. I say, "Sorry, do you your work." Nah, MCPS does not give out A's.

Hm, still incomprehensible. MCPS does give out As, clearly.

DP… you’re the one who can’t read. Very easy to understand. They accidentally wrote the same word twice… the fact that’s difficult for you is embarrassing.

No they didn’t. They said MCPS didn’t give out As when it seems they apparently they meant that MCPS doesn’t give out As “for nothing”. Without that clarification it made zero sense because we all know it’s possible to get an A. And I asked politely, the fact that you need to be nasty about it is on you. Words matter and that post would get a D for clarity and sense.

No idea what you’re trying to say.

Original PP said “MCPS does not give out As”, then follow up PP said “what? Clearly MCPS does give As, as many kids get them”, original PP doubled down. Another PP said they meant “doesn’t give out As to everyone/freely/for nothing” or maybe “doesn’t *just* give out As” so second PP said “well why didn’t you say that in the first place, your post made no sense”, then strangely two (!) people didn’t understand this straight forward and unimportant exchange.

A is for Asians
B is for Blacks
C is for Caucasians

F is for Trumpers, Republicans, pro Abortion and Gun nuts

Seems equity in grading and teachers scared of Tiger moms.

Or maybe I am imagining this.

Simple mind, simple definition. But you be you.

Don't forget people who think that a woman is an adult human female.

OK, how do you define equity?

I do. In the case of the state, it is a system in which the government redistributes resources unequally in a discriminatory manner based on its political ideology.

Equity is the process to reach equality.
Equity is an attempt to overcome decades or centuries of institutional discrimination.

Equity is an attempt to overcome decades or centuries of institutional discrimination.
And that process requires an authority (the state in this case) to redistribute resources in a discriminatory manner. And there is no institutional discrimination. So equity is simply discriminatory retribution.

There were 350 years of legal, systemic discrimination. You think someone waved a magic want and erased all the effects of that history? Wow.

They didn't use a wand. They used a scroll called The Civil Rights Act of 1964. Since then we've had actual institutional racism aka affirmative action. Thankfully that was made illegal by the Supreme Court. Do I think there are a handful of racists still out there doing bad things? Sure. And they should be dealt with accordingly. Do I think the system should be dismantled and rebuilt using equity? No. That's insane, illiberal and destructive to western civilization. At some point, we need to call out the real culprit of black failure, the glorification of poor black culture. All poor culture is terrible. But no other races' por culture is glorified like poor black culture.

What other group in this country has experienced legalized slavery and permanent third class treatment??...See in your mind that was centuries ago. Well my grandmother lived Jim Crow as did a lot of other elderly Black people. No book needed to explain anything. People are still here that lived it. Inspire of all the horrors, Black people have not only survived but thrived in the country built for "free". Maybe you should take 50 lashes for simply trying to learn to read. Better yet give your life to cast a ballot. Maybe you celebrate all those atrocities like Black people celebrate poverty.......

What does any of that have to do with the price of tea in China?
