If your child got into a T25 in the last 2 years

two kids, class of 2021 and 2023, both got into T10s

--can't remember GPAs but 2021 kid had mostly A- with maybe a B+ somewhere in there, with a moderately rigorous path; 2023 had all As (one A-) and a very rigorous path

--2021 had 33 ACT; 2023 had 1540 SAT

--no hooks, but did not apply for financial aid (some would argue that doing this creates a hook, so we did that strategically. And there went our retirement plans out the window)

--2021 applied ED. 2023 kid did not bc their first choice school did not offer ED. So that kid got into the T10 school on regular decision (but went to their first choice school instead)
