Anyone changing behavior due to the latest uptick in Covid?

Schools need to be closed.

We need to lockdown.

Stop the spread! It’s only 14 days….

We sprayed our groceries with Lysol after the teen delivery driver risked her life by going into the belly of the beast (grocery store) to fetch us our groceries. We let them sit in the garage for 48 hours before bringing them into the house.

If we need to go in public, we carry a measuring tape to make sure we are 6 ft apart from others.

Oh we test hourly for Covid - environment be dammed - you can never be too safe!

Have some respect for the over one million people in the US who died from Covid. Make your own choices but it’s not funny.

I wish they could speed up availability of the new booster so that kids could get boosted before school starts. I mask inside and on transit, but I can't force my kids to mask at school or camp now that their peers aren't masking there.

Please be kidding.

+1. If schools start threatening this en masse again there are going to be riots.

Cope.

No. If schools close again I’ll be leading the riot. Kids are just not affected like adults. There’s absolutely no reason to damage their education like that

Where was this attitude back when the schools were closed??? How did people NOT know that closing schools would greatly affect their education??

If more people would’ve spoke out against this, it wouldn’t have happened. But everyone just rolled over and let Big Government lock us down. For what?? Nothing. It did nothing and now we pay the price.

They can NEVER do this crap again.

Lock us down harder, daddy government!

I've never stopped wearing an N95 indoors, so will just continue. Have noticed a few more people wearing masks lately, and have a number of coworkers out on sick leave after catching Covid on vacation.

But it is funny because these nonsensical Covid “measures” do absolutely nothing. Read that post again and see how ridiculous these dumb measures look.

No way.

Nope. Never had covid despite taking zero precautions. Haven’t worn a mask in years. Not starting now.

The likelihood is that the fall booster will only be recommended for vulnerable people, including 65+ years old, not everyone. In many European countries, kids can't even get a covid vaccine now without doctor certification of need, because the small risks are thought to exceed the even smaller benefits for children.

Masking on planes, and in crowded internal places.

It is just not that hard, and I need to be healthy for many planned events.

Not recommended and not available are two different things.

Or is it because you’ve had it and it was NBD? Have you had it multiple times? Just curious where people fall - as I think it varies a lot.

In my case it’s because I never stopped wearing an N95 indoors. (I’m a different person from the other person who posted this today, FWIW.)

In my case it’s because my personal risk balance is living a normal life is more beneficial than the risk of getting Covid. Now that we have vaccines, Covid is not that scary. I have no issue with folks who continue to wear masks. I realize they have a different perspective and/or risk tolerance. Now that n95 are available, people who are high risk can protect themselves. If someone asked me to mask (friend, coworker, doctors office) I will, but they need to warn me beforehand or provide a mask because I no longer carry masks around.

I absolutely love having to talk with distant acquaintances about my invisible but serious health conditions. Urgency of normal, amiright?

Died with Covid. Not necessarily of Covid. And if you can't figure out by how the deaths were heavily, hugely, dependent on age and health conditions, then don't know what is left to say.

That people so willingly put up with illness and are fine with spreading is unfortunate.

“So willingly put up with illness”

Yeah people get sick. It’s part of life. COVID isnt a big deal for immunized healthy adults.

I assume this is nothing new for you, you didn’t put up with illness your entire adult life and would mask all time after your flu shot too, right? WE CANT PUT UP WITH ILLNESS CAN WE!?!?!?

Wow, you seem to have a brain fog from one of your numerous infections of various sort. Yikes!
