Anyone changing behavior due to the latest uptick in Covid?

"Shoot up."

LOL.

We need better math education in this country!

I wore a mask while visiting an elderly relative in a nursing home, but otherwise...hell no.

No, COVID’s a nothing burger for our demographic. We’re not making that mistake again.

If you’re paying attention to wastewater, then you’re way too obsessed to be rational.

I live in Florida. If I didn’t read dcum, I literally wouldn’t even know Covid was a thing anymore.

I've definitely seen more people masking while shopping. I haven't been masking other during rush hour on Metro but plan to in the airport and on the plane going to Iceland next week.

I feel like I’ve seen more people indoors in masks recently. We are not doing anything differently.

Yes I am masking indoors and in crowds outside. And at work. I don't see a lot of people masking, only retail workers sometimes. Who am I showing weakness to by wearing a mask, let me know.

A wise person isn't going to follow the masses or even the news to determine when to mask or get vaccinated...the "both sides" brigade has taken over communication about COVID and no one wants to hurt the feelings of those who are devotees of the Fox corporation. Best to look for info from hospitals, medical researchers, etc.

Of course not.

Who is “our demographic”? We don’t live in bubbles. We have children, parents, grandparents, coworkers of all generations.

I just got it the first time recently because I brought food to a 90 year old who had Covid. I got it and it was the sickest I’ve ever felt. Worst headache of my life, 103.7 temp, constant painful cough that wouldn’t let up. Five days straight. The pain was so scary. I had a few hours of reprieve and then it came right back. I was scheduled for the booster the next week.

If you're using dated expressions from Helen Gurley Brown ("nothingburger") you're likely in an elderly demographic and should be more concerned than most of us.

They advise waiting two months after you've had covid before getting a booster. Your recent infection provides protection now.
