Do you not believe in capitalism? Corporations are based on one thing and one thing alone - making money. Usually by selling something. If it doesn't sell they'll stop production.

Are you a commie who wants to regulate businesses?

No it actually has to do with the following below. Companies are rewarded for pushing this stuff because it improves their scores. Nothing to do with sales although Bud light is definitely feeling the almost 30% drop in sales.

+ 100
When these displays are front and center as you enter a store and when items are targeted at children, we notice. We, being "normal" people.

You are far from normal. Normal people ignore things in the store that they don't want to buy. They don't go through the items and see what they can get offended by.

Most people go about their lives and don't buy things that have no interest. They don't fume at items that are for sale in a store, they just don't buy them.

And that's how I wait til July and get all sorts of rainbow clothing for a low price. I'm not lgbt, I just like colorful clothing.

Companies don't exist for "scores" on any sort of metric, they exit to make money.

So you think Adidas had a male with visible bulge model a woman’s swimsuit because it would help sell the product more? What about Nike using Dylan Mulvaney to model a woman’s sports bra and leggings? How many women do you think wanted to purchase those products based on the advertising? Do you really think these companies would push this if the only goal was maximum profits?

Way to prove the point of the thread. Normal people do not give a sh|t about this.

This is the crap that Ron DeSantis has been talking about while his constituents are like “why are my healthcare and homeowners insurance so expensive?”

Well I say enough people give a shlt about this otherwise Budlight would not be panicking over a massive drop in sales. Other companies including Target are now afraid of being "budlighted" as well which is why Target removed items from their Pride collection.

Unfortunately both Democrats and Republicans are guilty of being out of touch when it comes to certain issues. Access to safe abortions is a great example as others have mentioned. A majority of Americans are in favor of abortion but with restrictions. Democrats on the other hand are too soft on crime and we can see the ramifications of these liberal policies. Escalating crime is a concern for a lot of Americans.

Target is worried one of you lunatics is going to come in and start shooting - that's why they pulled the pride merch.

And most normal people want to avoid mass shootings.

No the truth is they are worried about facing a similar situation as Budlight. Interesting how Target seemed to have no problems with actual violence when their stores were getting destroyed and ransacked during the BLM riots.

An it's the unhinged trans activists you have to worry about committing violence. You can read stories of women getting punched and assaulted by these lunatics. At the Let Women Speak event in New Zealand they punched an elderly woman in the face. Look what happened to Riley Gaines in San Francisco simply for choosing to speak out about protecting women's sports. They love to give death and rape threats to women dare to who speak up.

In fact the satanic designer hired by Target has a collection (not sold at Target) promoting violent things with sayings such as “We Bash Back” with a heart-shaped mace in the trans-flag colors, “Transphobe Collector” with a skull and “Homophobe Headrest” with skulls beside a pastel guillotine. Other products include enamel pins saying “Heteronormativity Is A Plague,” “Time’s Up For Transphobes,” “Join My Gay Cult" and “Trans Witches for Abortion” button. Do you think your average person agrees with promoting evil crap like that??

Target is worried that their market cap is down $9B. Let’s face it, they make it through organized crime gangs ripping them off in big cities, so I doubt the threat of unorganized acts of vandalism would scare them, even if some of the incidents were violent.

Target is playing you. They are claiming to be victims of unhinged transphobes so that you won't penalize them for removing the merch.

This way, the conservatives get what they want, and you get what you want.

Yes, of course it's all about marketing and profits.

Now, you can say they were getting terrible advice. And their calculations that this would help them with the youth market were misplaced.

But come on. Everything corporations do is about sales. Do you really believe all those ads about how ethical BP is? Do you really believe that the Mission Vision Values statements from corporations are sincere beliefs not based on what they think will sell? All those feel-good commercials, you think those are made because those corporate lords are touchy-feely guys who truly believe in that? It's all marketing. Marketing has taken over everything. It's all about sales and capturing the attention of certain demographics.

The real mission, vision, values of corporations is making money. That is all.

Republicans are only concerned about crimes that don't involve mass shootings or attempts to overturn the government.

That behavior is reserved for liberals on Twitter.
