Do they run background checks on any other performer? Then I would assume they do the same for drag performers. The real question is, why do you think a drag queen would be more at risk of having a criminal record than anyone else? Given their track record, I would trust my child around a drag queen before I would a priest. Look, I'm not really a fan of drag either, I don't have an issue with it, it's just not my thing so it wouldn't appeal to me to take my kids to an event like this. But I certainly don't think that parents who do are endangering their kids safety. |

Now you have gone too far. They want the next generation of humans to know there are people like them. And associate them with something positive rather than the negative they might hear from places like Florida. It could just as easily be a police officer or a person in a wheelchair. I would probably not be too drawn to such an event, but it is ludicrous (and offensive) to suggest they have some ulterior motive. Do you think that pizzeria was really a pedophile ring too??? |

Seems the roots of cross dressing are about arousal. Hardly appropriate for a child’s story time. Even if it has evolved from this, it’s understandable that it makes people uncomfortable. |

TX ICAC and FBI just arrested 59 people in connection with a giant porn ring in the DFW area. They also freed 28 kids during the bust.
