37 seems like a lot |
Yeah its 37 and possibly more.... |
In the bankruptcy filing you can count off at least 37 individual claims each with their own addresses and names. It is beyond crazy how many people omar has harmed. |
Would love to know how many engaged with Optimum after MHIC blindly renewed their license in March 2022. It now appears the financial condition of Optimum and Omar Elrahimy was in serious distress (MHIC was aware) and this is one of the things that MHIC is to validate to get a license. "Things don't work in favor of the contractor. You have one position and the contractor has another position." Thanks MHIC... Nothing to see here... |
you know what is some bull crap is MHIC has governmental immunity so the only way they would ever get in trouble is if we had full proof finger prints all over the gun evidence. otherwise it's an "oopsies, we let this scam artist ruin a bunch of lives but meh." |
I have attended MHIC board meetings. Last summer an issue was raised regarding home owners using unlicensed contractors to complete a project after the initial license contractor has failed. MHIC will not accept a claim against the initial, licensed contractor if the home owner used an unlicensed contractor to complete the job. Jean White, one of the commissioners (she gets it) brought up the issue of what happens to the Licensed Contractor that abandoned or failed on the project and ran off with the money? The answer? Nothing. However, MHIC might go after the unlicensed contractor. Really? Licensed contractor can steal your money and walk away and they will go after the unlicensed contractor that actually completed the job. The whole organization is messed up. ...and we wonder how an Omar Elrahimy can happen. |
Just noticed a lot of the GRIP supercar events posts are gone. Here's a daily reminder that while Omar Elrahimy was claiming Optimum Construction was going broke he was buying another sports car. |
I have just received a letter from the law office of Rollins, Smalkin, Richards, and Mackie threatening all sorts of legal repercussions if I don't remove this thread. At this time, I will not remove this thread.
As many of you have noticed, I have removed many posts from this thread. Those posts were reported to me via the "report" button that is present on every post. I believed the posts that I removed to be off-topic, in most cases mentioning individuals who are not directly involved in the subject of this thread. The lawyer who has been in touch feels that there are many remaining posts that are defamatory. I have informed the lawyer that I will not remove the thread. However, I will comply with any legally-issued subpoenas for IP addresses. If you are the author of a post in this thread and do not wish to have your IP address potentially turned over, you are welcome to "report" your own post and ask for it to be removed. However, that report will have to come from the same IP address as the post that you are reporting. That's the only way that I can know that it is you making the request. In addition, the original poster of the thread can request to have the entire thread removed. However, the same stipulation will apply. I will need to be sure that such a request is actually coming from the original poster. |
Also, to whomever is continuing to report posts in this thread, please stop. I will no longer respond to them. I was doing my best to work with you, but now that the lawyers are involved it a whole new ballgame.

Omar and his legal team have a lot more to worry about than defaming his name. He STOLE money from lots of people and have ruined their lives. He has way more to worry about than his name being defamed. I would advise his lawyers to worry about their criminal of a client than those of us over here dealing with the reprocutions of his actions! |
Makes me wonder where he got the money to hire attorneys if he's in personal bankruptcy....nothing to see right? |
Just so you know, the lawyer contends that the money was not stolen but is unable to be returned because of the bankruptcy proceedings which themselves are a result of pandemic-related business losses, not fraud or theft. As such, the lawyer would view your accusation that his client stole money and is a criminal as being defamatory. Hence, if they subpoena IP addresses, yours will certainly be one that they want to obtain. More than likely, you did not mean that literally, but were actually engaging in a hyperbolic expression of opinion. You might just want to clarify that. |
I meant what I said. No need to clarify...he STOLE and if they ask you for my IP address, gladly give it to them, I have nothing to hide. I will stand up in court and tell a judge, jury, etc that, that man stole from my family. The Pandemic has nothing to do with this.
