Better protocols needed to account for classified documents handled by political officials et Al …

Are you on drugs?

I find it absolutely mind-blowingly unbelievable that Biden's people didn't IMMEDIATELY hunt for classified documents in his possession when the Trump thing happened.

That said, why on earth does no one know where these documents are at all times???? Isn't someone in charge of 'chain of custody'?

Biden will be found not guilty, i.e. accident. Clear by who’s handling it. Dems are playing a game here.

THANK YOU! Chain of custody is spot on. Im feeling more disappointed that more docs were reportedly found per WaPo post 5 minutes ago.

I predict there will be even more.

Now, do the number of days the classified materials were held in unsecured locations.
And, how many people had access to the material.

Who had the keys to the office at the Penn Biden center?

Who had access to the keys to the house in Delaware (apparently owned by Hunter)?

Where else were the Biden classified materials held? The Penn Biden center didn't open for over a year after Biden left office.

The secret service had access to ALL those places. Each and every one of them.

Question is.... who else had access?

They all do. I’m sure Clinton, bush, etc have some too. I think all these ex presidents and high level politicians need a shake down.

A gentle reminder..... these are documents from when he was VP - not president.

If the appropriate authorities had been contacted as soon as classified documents or other documents that belong to the Federal government were discovered in Trump’s possession, he had turned them over and cooperated with searches for more documents when NARA was trying to account for them, he never argued that the documents were his and he was entitled to them, he never bragged about them and purposely showed them to people without government clearance, they hadn’t been housed in an unsecured location that numerous employees who are not US citizens have access to on a property that foreign spies have visited, he didn’t have a history of cozying up to adversaries of the US and grifting every chance he gets, and he didn’t have a history of being the lyingest liar ever to occupy the WH, he would not be in the situation that he’s in. It’s a problem of his own making.

Trump and Biden should both be investigated in the interest of national security. I have a feeling it’s going to be much harder to prove bad intent on Biden’s part because he doesn’t have the same shady history as Trump and it sounds like he hasn’t obstructed any investigation so far, as Trump appears to have. Clearly, new procedures need to be put into place or existing procedure need to be better enforced to prevent classified documents from ending up in random, unsecured, undocumented locations. We’re all at risk when this happens, regardless of intent, and we can’t rely on officials and the people in their orbits to have only the purest of intent.

You *think* Biden doesn't have a shady history.

You are wrong.

Read the article. The one document was found at Biden's house by people who didn't have security clearances, so they left it there and stopped searching. DOJ people came in and continued searching and found SIX PAGES in total. BFD.

No, Biden aides found it.
Time for the FBI to lock down his residences and work places and do a proper search.

From the article:

President Biden’s aides found additional pages of classified information at his Delaware home this week, the White House said on Saturday, bringing the tally to six pages uncovered this week.

The additional pages, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said, were discovered hours after a White House statement on Thursday that cited only one that had turned up in a storage area adjacent to the garage of his Wilmington home. Justice Department employees had gone to retrieve that page, which Mr. Biden’s aides had discovered the night before.
