Is cosmetic breast surgery in your late 40's really stupid?

Her lung collapsed during surgery and they released her to a resort after??? What fresh hell??

I am sure it was one of those after-care resorts with nurses. The didn’t release her with the knowledge she had a collapsed lung, a post-mortem examination revealed her lung was punctured during plastic surgery.

How do they puncture a lung during surgery and why wouldn’t there be evidence of this at the time or in recovery?
