I work in IT. Heads would roll if something so basic as backups didn't happen and a catastrophic incident occurred.

Why aren't these backups automated?

No one said any such thing on the record. It was all anonymous sources. Those sources were probably lying. Can you provide a link that shows the time line because it seem you are lying. The secret service actively lied and attacked Hutchinson but evidence soon came out that backed her side of the story. The USSS has and is still leaking negative stores and propaganda. They are not to be trusted.

Now these losers delete all records of what happen on Jan 6th? Why are these agents still on active duty? All agents on duty on Jan 6th should be suspended without pay and moved to the uniform division pending in FBI investigation of each one of them and there actions. Under no circumstances can any of these agents retain their jobs.

It was a statement by the USSS spokesman that said something like speaking to the press would be inappropriate and that the USSS would cooperate fully, and it came out right after the anonymous sources started trashing Hutchinson. I’ll have to find it. I’m not lying. It seems you have an agenda and don’t want to leave the door open to facts.

The GI and others are saying the USSS is not cooperating but actively providing false information and destroying records. This information was not given in a press conference but in a written report to Congress. Congress has said officially the USSS deleted records after being instructed two time before Jan 6th and multi times after Jan 6th and the USSS is not cooperating with Congress.

The USSS delete the records, were told to turn over all record but did not inform anyone the records had been deleted till last week. This was done to stop any recovery effects. There is no reason to believe the USSS is cooperating with the US government. In fact the USSS is actively working to obstruct and undermined the US Government.

So add this to the mix and tell me you would roll out a new system at this time. The busiest and biggest event is the inauguration and everything leading up to it. So this is the time the USSS decides to rol” at a new system? Also right after an attempted coup? Any IT department who want to roll out a new system would get a head pat and kick in the @$$.

PP here.. yea, that's pretty obvious because in IT, we never permanently delete anything before a backup is taken, and we never go through the backups to delete something.

Someone has a backup copy, or more than one copy. I would imagine there are several days worth up backups. Before you do a migration, you always take a backup. Always. So basic.

The FBI agents I know have all spoken about how their annual polygraph was a main driver for keeping them on the straight side of any grey area decisions- because they would lose their security clearance - and their job if they failed their lie detector test

So, why not just 'round all of the USSS Agents in DC on Jan 6th and compel each and every one of them to prolonged lie detector and interrogation techniques- anyone who shows tell tale fail signals- indict them for conspiracy and purgery until they " give it up" on who they were texting, what the exchange was - name all parties

Because, in terms of convicting Trump and his co-conspirators, and having them spend the rest of their lives in Federal Prison- the secret service has the Evidence
